1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
>>My PC is around 5 years old and need to get a new one. Since i'm going in for a new one i'd want it to play all the latest games.

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
>>600-700 USD

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
>>India- Bombay

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc, etc, etc, you get the picture.
>>Intel Nehalem, rest doesnt matter.

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
>>NO

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
>>NO

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
>>No, however Nehalem has a turbo boost feature that i guess should come in handy.

8. WHEN do you plan to build it?
>> In the next month i'd like to post a review from it.

you cant build a totally new ehalem build for under 700, thats for sure. the cheapest is about 800, and thats with three gigs of ram, no monitor, no video card.
