I think the title says most of it. I've got 2 wired network segments that I'm trying to connect by using a Linksys WAP11 access point in client mode.

Crude representation of my network

In that pic, the blue lines represent wireless connections, and grey lines represent ethernet connections. Also, there is a slight mistake in it: the DSS-5+ switch is between supernova, tetrahedron, and the DWL-1000AP; the DSH-5 hub is between collective, dirtdevil, and the WAP11.

The problem is, the computers on each side of the WAP11 AP can not see eachother. For example, I can't ping tetrahedron from collective and vice versa, nor can collective or dirtdevil ping the DWL-1000AP. However, both sides can ping the WAP11 itself just fine. Note that freeway associates to the DWL-1000AP access point, and can see that side of the network, as well as the WAP11, just fine, but can't reach collective and dirtdevil.

Can anyone give any suggestions as to what I might try?

The claim has been made in the past that the Linksys WAP11 in client mode only works (or is only guaranteed to work) with other Linksys equipment. You might have better luck with either (a) getting a Linksys WET11, which supposedly works with any brand, or (b) having both your wireless APs be the same brand and guaranteed to work together. From what I've seen on this board, people seem to have problems when they mix and match different brands of APs -- at least if you have the same brand, it is easier to pin responsibility and to get tech support to help. If you can get your dlink and linksys to peacefully co-exist though, let us know.
