Trying to add computer to Windows Server 2003

I know this may seem like a newb question, if so I apologize.

I am trying to connect my new office computer to our company server (small company, just my boss and I). When on the Windows Server 2003 computer, It says to go to the computer that I want to add to the server and type this

when i do that I get this.

have you tried going into active directory, adding the computer name, then go to your new office computer and join the domain from there?

thta message is either refering to your office computer admin account or the admin account on windows server 2003

Ok, so there is a link there that says connect to the network now. If you click on that does it ask for the admin name and password?

Join the computer to the domain and it will ask for credentials to add the computer.

I am sure I'm the admin on the 2nd computer, and my security settings have been set to the lowest possible.
