Slipstreamed the SATA drivers on to an XP Home SP2 disk. Install goes fine with a handful of files that couldn't be copied at various points, but nothing crucial. After the install completes (I choose region, enter code, etc) and it reboots I get a blue screen stop error message with the code 0x0000007b 0xBACCF524.
I don't understand why the drivers suffice for installation, but cause a BSOD upon bootup.
Any ideas or experiences with this? I can't even gt into the BIOS because it seems to require a hidden partition they inlcude with their stock install.
