I have no idea what is going on here, is this a known issue that standby doesn't work or what? I tried a search and came up with nothing. Anybody help?

Yes, this is a known issue that has been fixed since the first version of the Catalysts so make sure you have the latest drivers for your card.

Also make sure you have the latest chipset drivers and BIOS for your system and don't overclock anything.

aight, I have the latest catalyst drivers but not the latest bios. I'll try that, should work. Thanks!
