Ok, My friend and I need your help. Sometimes we sit and laugh at all the funny fashions we wore in the 80's.

Does anyone remember the athletic pants that came out with the stripe down the sides? They also made them in shorts.

We want to know what they were called. We have tried to wrack our brains but after having kids, they are pretty much wacked out.

Track pants? At least, that's what I called them. Oh, and they are back in style now, natch. Everything is being recycled... it's amazing. Well, hopefully they will stop short of leg warmers... ewwwww

I'm ashamed to say I did the Flashdance thing for a while... all my sweats had the collars and hems ripped out and the arms cut off...

Are you talking about track suits / pants? IIRC they never really went out of style. They've been around since the 80's but are just recently making a big comeback. Adidas has always had them available.

Track pants are not back in style, whoever told you they are is secretly laughing at you. I remember the Addidas ones were big in the eighties. Now it's the nylon addidas suits that are in and a new version of the old parachute pants, which I tend to wear a lot, since they are really comfortable and roomy. I know those pants you talked about were called track pants at one time but there was a funnier name that escapes me that people used to call them.

Those came out in the early nineties I think.

L.A. Lights. Actually one guy was being chased at night through some woods by the police. And the only reason they caught him was because the followed the blinking lights on his shoes.
