Looks like it's not a problem in the US...yet.

Since I don't buy foodstuffs from Taiwan or China...I'm probably OK...unless one of the US companies buys tainted "ingredients."

There are lots of Taiwanese products in Asian grocery stores and restaurants, especially the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. Things like boba tea should be avoided I think.
