Ouch? I consider it to be a good card.

Nah..I'm saying that this codec is a bitch to play😛
Well, it would go a whole lot better if the video card companies would get off their asses and get better decode acceleration built in to their drivers. We were supposed to have MPEG1/2/4 acceleration in current cards, and that hasn't all happened yet. I would better H.264 would play a whole lot better if the video card could do some of the heavy lifting.

Either way, archive these for future use😀

clean picture. video playback is fine, it's the audio that's choppy now. remarks in other thread.

h.264 w/o QT7 = teh suck

Why do you say that for? The Moonlight h.264 codec is on par with the QT7 codec. But I'm definitely not a fan of Nero's h.264 codec though. Unfortunately, Windows version of QT7 may potentially not be available until at least the 3rd quarter.

I can never get the Moonlight encoder to encode anything without crashing

Damn..everyone is hating h.264:|
Seriously, I'm sure I'd like it if I could play it, but H.264 is like dangling a carrot in front of me and then taking it away - the subpar frame rate just ruins it.
