Good for those in west coast, especially CA.
Bad for east coast - takes a few days for delivery.

Crab, where the hech in MI do you live? I just dumped NetFlix because it is sooooo slow. 7 -10 days to get a disk after they say they sent it out, but they get them back in 2 - 3 days. You do the math. Add to that the fact if you want anything but main-stream disks you wait months. I had half a dozen movies that were all listed as long wait. I was a member for over a year but I can no long reccomend this service. Look elsewhere, cold deal....

NetFlix used to be great but I have to concur that the service is getting worse and worse. I took a look at my rental queue a few weeks ago; it had something like 13 titles in it and 9 of 'em showed LONG WAIT. And while I'm sure the USPS delivery time hasn't changed drastically over the past year or so, the time it takes for a NetFlix movie to get to me after I get the shipping notice has grown from around three days to about a week now. Same thing on returns.

I'm a charter member on their Marquee service. I wrote 'em an e-mail voicing my concern about so many things in my queue showing a wait. They wrote back and basically said that I needed to watch different movies. Translation = old stuff.

Netflix used to be good, but they're going downhill...service is detioriating and I've heard quite a few people complain of scratched discs. They're about the only ones with a good inventory that I've found so far, though.

this is a repost....

Old post..

30 DAY TRIAL instead of 2 weeks

i've been using netflix for 3 weeks now out of New Jersey. For a lite user, the service isnt so bad but you do you have to wait a bit sometimes. next month i'm prob goin to try rentmydvd.com which has a east coast branch (conveniently in nj) and west coast branch.
