Somehow my first post didn't make it to the server.....oh well. I have a question about winxp...lol. When I use the win update I get this error everytime..........."Access Denied
Network policy settings prevent you from using Windows Update to download and install updates on your computer.
If you believe you have received this message in error, please check with your system administrator."

Now the corporate win update and catalog work fine. I have gone through the services, network configs., policies, security, etc. and nothing solves it....got me stumped. I am running winxp build 2526, amd 950, 256mb ram, 56k (don't laugh)....no dsl or cable here...lol. I am the only user of computer and I am logged on as my self with title of computer administrator. Any ideas would be appreciated however this feature isn't absolutely necessary there are other ways of getting the same files offered just more work. Thanks.....Joe
