Drinking it straight up on the rocks right. I'm not a vodka connoisseur but it's definitely my favorite amongst the higher quality ones (Grey Goose, Ketel One etc.). Very smooth...

Vodka is supposed to be a neutral spirirt. I wonder how many could distinguish between unflavored vodkas if they were blindfolded? (I don't really drink enough vodka to have an opinion one way or the other...)

Prices are comparable to grey goose and ketel one. You can find a 750ml bottle for anywhere between $27 and $30. Like I said i'm not vodka connoisseur. But it certainly has less of the vodka "bite" to it.

Get me some Trump vodka, triple distilled in Holland.

And this is distilled SIX times. Heh heh, seems like that gillette vs schick razor battle

Haha straight vodka, reminds me of good ole nights... Russian vodka is hard to do that with though, the flavor stays on your tongue for some reason.

That statement makes no sense. Straight up means in a glass with nothing else. On the rocks means add a few ice cubes. They are mutually exclusive.

Oh and on topic I also believe that most vodkas taste the same, but some of the cheaper brands (popov, banff ice) tend to leave me with a hangover if I drink too many, while if I drink smirinoff or any of the top shelf brands I wake up feeling great.

i feel like you bolded the wrong part of that sentence? Regardless, i'm not an expert. My completely subjective opinion is that I just like it better than the other two.

I found your post and your name to be paradoxical.

I believe you're trying to destroy the universe.

Because most people drink straight vodka D:

It's called a martini ... Granted it is usually just chilled with the ice, but I usually let the ice melt into it to dilute the alcohol down a bit.

I prefer Stoli, but have found a couple good cheap alternatives lately, Svedka runs ~$20 for 1.75L, and there's one that's even a bit better in Costco, can't think of the name right now, but its tastes smooth and is polish. Grey Goose and other 'top shelf' vodkas always did seem like a scam to me.

I've always doubted cheap Vodkas, but Pinnacle is amazing. It's made in the same factory as Grey Goose, and if you get the flavored ones..either Cherry or my favorite, expresso flavored vodka, it tastes like it's a mixed drink with the full alcohol content of a vodka.

The best part though is that you can usually find 750ml bottles for ~$10 if you look hard enough.

I like me some vodka, but I haven't bought any in a while. Last purchase was some Stoli several months ago.

Anybody ever try Jewel of Russia? That's some good stuff.

My favorite cheap vodka that I can find at Safeway is Svedka. I use to be a big fan of Finlandia back when you could get the 1.75L for $16, but now it's increased to $24 on sale and nearly $30 when not on sale at Bevmo.
