i have an x800XT that will run 3dmark 2005, 3dmark 2006, code creatures, and extended counter strike gaming sessions (4+ hours) without a problem BUT
as soon as i drop to windows and try to surf the web or do mundane things, the computer locks hard and sometimes reboots. sometimes, it just hangs and i have to reset it manually. usually takes less than 10 minutes to occur. this will also happen within 10 minutes of turning it on after being off for a while. i can't even read the dump/kernel panic files without it locking and resetting, but load up a game, and it works great!
