Jog on.

No, your first post is directed towards someone's parents and grammer skills. Which proves that you are still struggling with the concept of talking polite.

Take some undercover photos of the XFX labs you work in to give us some real pictures of the place where you claim you have seen this stuff, until then you can brag all you want and noone will take your word for anything.
I've heard a similar story from someone else, but I didn't think there was anything conspicuous about it. Given the fact that 9800 GTX is a G92 variant and also make use of 256-bit, NV launched 9600 GT as the first of '9' series SKU and delayed the GX2 launch (possibly simultaneous launch with 9800 GTX, in order to calm down the criticism on the lacking SKU), what Tulip says is just "business as usual" although it doesn't paint NV with the prettiest color. Anyone can come up with such analysis without evasedropping employers' conversation, IMO. Doesn't mean it's factual, but then again this type of analysis can never be 100% factual unless you're the one making decisions.

Proves what? He is trolling, do you want me to take him out for a picnic?

And for your information, I've been on this forum a hell of a lot longer than you. Post counts and registration dates count for absolutely nothing.

I'd make a comment about going off topic, but why bother feeding the troll?

Thanks for the welcome. I've been here for years but AnandTech decided to blacklist my ISP to filter out a known spammer/hacker. I wasn't able to log in after that, until recently when I switched ISP's. I forgot my password etc, so I just created a new account.

cool ... but as a head's up you should know it is a really good idea to PM the mod account to let them know what you remember of your old one; they frown on duplicate accounts.

There is mounting evidence from numerous sources that the 9800gtx is going to be just a slightly faster 8800gts 512 that can run tri-sli. Some of us have speculated that 9800gtx will have better implementation of AA/AF, which would obviously be a huge boon at higher resolutions, but it does seem extremely unlikely that even with such improvements it would offer significantly better performance than 8800gtx at high res with AA/AF. In short, gt200 and r700 had better get here fast.

edit: I don't get the attacks on tulips, either. I personally think that she's full of shit because all of her info could have been obtained online already. However, I don't CARE if she's telling the truth or not. she's not the first person to say that 9800gtx sucks, and she definitely won't be the last. Let's keep our eyes on the ball here people; ie, let's encourage her to get some REAL info on the 9800 series before the nda is released and/or she gets fired!

OK so I pasted your hex string into that link and got the following:

I don't get it. I do lots of hex to decimal and binary conversions by trade, but am apparently not familiar with this string function?

Well, the last time this guy posted he was correct, as Xbit had an article on it a few days later.

I am NOT A GUY, i am a woman working as a personal assistant to someone in XFX.

so you sneak into a lab and take unauthorized screen shots

what you are doing is probably illegal ... or XFX should be aware their security sucks ... and is damaging to your own company as much as an industrial "spy" would cause harm
Unless i am really missing something really BIG, you are morally bankrupt ... why should we believe you at all?

and IF - by the slightest chance - you ARE telling the truth, you are SO fired ... you gave out way too much info :p

LOL

I think this is just a young person who wants some attention.

I'd honestly be pretty shocked if a secretary went to the trouble to post insider info on AT, it's pretty rare to have women on here in general.

No one would risk their job or litigation to post NDA info just to stir up a little controversy on AT- there's no payoff.

How many of you do things with financial and legal risks just to get a little attention?

If every reader had to pay $10,000. for the info- maybe. Free, no gain? Doubt it.

People only do things for a reason, and there's no payoff here remotely equal to the risk.

Conspiracy theories are fun though, I'm sure some of you will think I'm part of some orchestrated corporate cover up. (rather than a hobbyist on his lunch hour)

you know i just realized... so tulip here is giving out juicy secrets and everyone kisses the earth she walks upon. Some guys disagree and she threatens to leave the forums forever and NAMES them as the reason..
The juvenileness doesn't surprise, its the fact people actually got on appopin's case over this.

What taltamir said, in any case just wait for the cards to be released or if AT gets a few models beforehand we can put all this crap to rest. How many threads are there with people talking about what Tulip provided as info, which is by no means a really credible source...

1. My hand is forced, here's my G200 pre-NDA photos:

G200 top secret photo

GTS version

;)

2. Yes, I get free hardware, software, and confidential information from NVIDIA as a member of their Focus Group.

BTW- to answer your question:
IMO this information is false, but I don't know anything about the G200 so I'm not going to say it's beyond the realm of possibility.
