Any one use trunk club? I am going to try in out when i get back to the states. The lady uses and likes stich fix. similar concept for dudes.

stylist makes a list of what you like and picks out stuff/ships to you. you can buy whatever of the items you like and send the rest back.

avoid shopping for myself, and may actually get stuff that fits/looks good. most dept. stores dont have things that have long enough arms or slim enough middles for me. my span is about 4 inches over my height.

I don't, but they're useful for the reasons you specify. Especially helpful for those that don't have a good wardrobe and don't know where to start. Lots of similar options out there these days.

Love the idea, but can't justify the price

"For example, denim prices are $170–$250, casual shirts $100–$200, and sweaters $100–$300."

Can't imagine spending $200 for a casual shirt...

Hmm, how do you get sized?

I haven't done it, but from what i understand, you just tell them your size on the phone, and the 'style consultant' or whatever the CSR is called, guesses what will fit well, and if it doesn't fit you send it back.

I think all these club sites: shave club, food club etc are created by San Franciscans for San Franciscans. Who else but New Yorkers can afford these things. I get my shirts for 10 to 20 bucks.

My friend got a trunk and kept a couple of items. They are high quality and stylish (GQ-esque) however they are outside my price range. Perhaps I'd keep a couple of items for special occasions, but I'll stick to Kohl's for my day to day clothes.

Hmm, wonder if they have services like that here in Toronto. I get a clothing allowance from work but shopping for it is just such a chore. Espeically because it's difficult to find stuff in my size.

That's why you are so angry.

I don't shop full price, but my Robert Graham Polo and my girls corset got attention tonight.

I can't find decent T-Shirts for $10 usually.

Me too. I pay about $30 to $40 per shirt. Can't imagine $175. At some point the "quality" argument goes in the toilet due to price differential being so high.
