Rant Trump's White House told Pentagon to downplay brain injuries to US troops after Iran rocket attack

Sounds about right for the coward who thinks KIA are losers and suckers. Cadet Bonespurs didn't want to hear about cause and effect after his little act of political assassination.

You'd have to be a real piece of shit to support this guy. Voting for him should qualify you for free MRI and CAT scans, at least a helmet and strap on drool cup.

In regards to injuries suffered by US troops after the Iranian retaliation to the US assassination of Qasem Soleimani, an attack where Iran notified the Iraqi government that it would be striking US targets and we had warning....

Minimizing the publicity of US injuries was the right thing to do given the nature of US society and members of Congress and the senate. There are plenty who are looking for any excuse to escalate the the US hostility towards to Iran to armed conflict and minimizing the public pressure to respond to an attack by keeping details to a minimum is pretty much a by the book way of dealing with a situation like this.
There were injuries but they survived. There is a very clear and honest way of divulging details to the public without looking like a jackass or further aggravating the situation.

The issue is that you take a moron like Donald Trump and the shitstorm of incompetence of that administration show itself to be.

The American CiC publicly ridiculing injuries to enlisted that he set in motion was in no way the right thing to do.

Trump didn't have the support he would need to do it, was looking for a 'tough guy win' to say he did something on par with Obama getting OBL. Undermining the confidence and respect of those sworn to fight for you is a big deal. Insulting them and lying about the situation doesn't create respect or dignity, but then simple logic like that is lost upon a demented moron who can control his mouth about as well as his bowels.

There are better ways to handle foreign policy PR, for sure. Like most things that happened during the Trump Dumpster Fire years, it was an example of what not to do.

You could tell by the virtual blackout of any real detailed information (another Trump admin technique for controlling the meme), that some bad stuff happened in that rocket attack. No Fox ankle biting to keep the story alive.

Just to be clear, my point was that minimizing the publicity was the right thing to do.
What Trump did was the polar opposite.
