The Fair and Reciprocal Trade Act.

Looks like its meant to blow up the WTO.
This is allegedly, a leaked copy of the bill:

"Why it matters: The draft legislation is stunning. The bill essentially provides Trump a license to raise U.S. tariffs at will, without congressional consent and international rules be damned.

The details: The bill, titled the "United States Fair and Reciprocal Tariff Act," would give Trump unilateral power to ignore the two most basic principles of the WTO and negotiate one-on-one with any country:"

Harming the status quo seems appealing, to those without hope. I've been there, no so long ago this policy would appeal to me. These days, however, I see a path forward - but first we need to pull our heads from our !@#$es and certainly no FARTs.

Boo on Trump's trade war. To him it's moving 1s and 0s. But that's real damage to real Americans.

And many are still there but instead of understanding and trying to fix the root cause of their situation our educated elite look down at them whether it's republicans blaming them for lack of personal responsibility or our corporate democrats brushing them off as a bunch of deplorables.

Please. The root cause is technological progress. It's rendering our work for a living model of how to distribute goods & services obsolete & untenable, particularly when we allow too much to the idea of ownership. When the automakers dumped Detroit & when manufacturers dumped the entire rust belt it was because they own & the rest of us don't. Other countries, particularly Germany, look at it entirely differently. They demand more from their capitalists & they get it, too.

What you say is not wrong Jhhnn, but you also spoke past him.
We need to be able to connect to those people and bend them towards believing in solutions. They need to hope again.

Let's set the world on fire and see what's left after the flames burn out.

When all one sees is hopelessness, starting anew feels like the only choice. This makes them vulnerable to con men. It is in this way, that trickle down feeds into itself and the delusion grows stronger. They fail to understand the policy of those they vote for. But they gotta blame someone. Our message must fixate of this issue and turn the tide by shifting the blame back onto the real enemies of the working class.
