Yeah, I really don't like Flynn at all. He seems pretty vulnerable to crazy conspiracy theory stuff, and so he won't be a moderating brake on Donald at all.

If you take a look around, many, many angry people are blinding following this conman known as Trump. Youtube is flooded by these people flocking to the so-called "alt" right channels that are putting ONLY fear mongering and hate mongering videos. Most of the content that is posted is either racist, anti-Obama, anti-Hillary, anti-Muslim, anti-this or anti-that. There is nothing positive or anything of real substance.

I think deep down many of these followers might be scared that their place in the world might be in jeopardy. That ultimately leads to hate and the ability to ignore truth. I guess Trump was the perfect candidate for them - he is championing the white people's causes, going after minorities, going after Obama and Hillary and going after those evil Muslims.

A few weeks ago Pizzagate was popular among these people. Now, it's the Berlin truck attack by the evil Muslims. Who knows what's next. They are always looking for their next target.

So yes, Trump is only a symptom of a hateful population. Without such a hateful and blind population, people like Trump would not and could not get elected.

LMAO!

You, sir, are made of win.

sorry, but this meeting took place just a few weeks ago and Obama appointed him over four years ago. it was after leaving that position that Flynn began working with Russian state media and Putin as well.

more like a fail.

And Obama appointed him as Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. Fucking alt-right Nazi white supremacist Obama.
Are there examples of Flynn of this type prior to his appointment by Obama? I ask that in all seriousness as all I've seen is he was pushed out for increasingly erratic behaviour and a loose relationship with the truth. They became known as "Flynn Facts" just before he was forced out.

I can't read the NYT article that apparently reported on "Flynn facts", but elsewhere I'm seeing that he was apparently an esteemed intelligence agent up until his position in management. I know he tweets all sorts of dumb and crazy stuff now (and his son is even worse), so maybe he's recently gone schizo, maybe he's just really brash and not suited for a traditional political environment, but in either case, "He met with some people that have three-generations-removed ties to Nazis and therefore is a white supremacist" is jumping the gun. I think the real reason Trump chose him is because the two seem very similar in their personalities, and because they both hate "the establishment".

It's really odd. Before this election cycle, there were lots of stories about Flynn. None alleged that he was crazy - they alluded to his refusal to play along with the bureaucracy and his un-PC penchant for calling Islamic terrorists "Islamic terrorists". But once Trump tapped him to be national security adviser, EVERY left wing media outlet has a story about "Flynn facts" and how he is deranged within a month.

Very impressive, that. Almost . . . Russian.

To be frank, the American public and the media don't really care who the director of the DIA is. How many people could name one without googling?

Do you think it just might be possible he's getting more attention from the media now because he's actually being promoted to a position people give a shit about?

It's just TDS. Trump Derangement Syndrome. It's going to get more interesting in a month when POSD (Post Obama Stress Disorder) kicks in. A lot of snowflakes as well as just flakes are going to be experiencing meltdowns.

The reality is most klan types manage to hide what they really think, particularly in a professional setting. I don't see the "white country" guys incl many here going on about it at work.

Of course now that he's in good company, it's time to let loose. Also quite the forgone conclusion that those above will support such endeavors, or at least turn a blind eye if it gets too genocidey. Not as if they've ever seen an alt-right figure they didn't like.

I figure President Trump will deserve as much respect and deference as he gave to President Obama.
Some things never change. When Obama started his first term I said here that berating the President was pretty much a national pastime. OMG, the vitriol that came my way after that...

I imagine the same people that were aghast that I would say that with our first black President in office will be A-OK with berating Trump. Whatevah...

Have you noticed that this shtick isn't working? I'm sure it fulfills a need you have though.

Seems to get your white country ass to shut right up.

Not real hard to figure out why that sort will never say a mean word about Steve "civic society" Bannon; but those centrist democrats, amiright.

Hey, that's infinitely more concerning than a return to beliefs from the most terrible time in modern history.

This was already brought up when MomentsofSanity said "increasingly erratic behaviour and a loose relationship with the truth". That describes Trump to a T as well (a light up golden T that he puts on fucking everything).
