Facebook did it first.

His Presidential free ride is over.

Facebook Bans Donald Trump ‘Indefinitely’

“We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great,” CEO Mark Zuckerberg said.

Facebook is “indefinitely” banning President Donald Trump from its platform, CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced Thursday.
“The shocking events of the last 24 hours clearly demonstrate that President Donald Trump intends to use his remaining time in office to undermine the peaceful and lawful transition of power to his elected successor, Joe Biden,” Zuckerberg said in a statement.
“We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great,” he added. “Therefore, we are extending the block we have placed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete.”

The president has also been blocked from Instagram “indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks,” according to Adam Mosseri, the head of the company. Facebook owns Instagram.

This means Trump won’t be allowed to use the platforms again as president, as President-elect Joe Biden will be inaugurated on Jan. 20.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.

He still has the capacity to launch nuclear weapons but can’t be trusted to use Twitter or Facebook.

Actually... I’m not sure Trump knows how to send the order for a nuclear strike without access to Twitter.

Any 300 pound guy in his basement could launch a nuke, the code is “MAGA2020!”

What do you mean "his head explodes"? If Trump's brain were dynamite, he couldn't blow his nose.
Wrong. The problem with him is that he is smart and on acting on another plane. He is not presidential at all, though some of the bills he's signed have been interesting moves. The problem is there's always two sides to a coin and who knows whether he was trying to help his supporters or had some other personal gains (direct or indirect). He's basically still a television personality that is only tweeting to get reaction and gain followers from outside what is viewed as normal.

He structured his entire election campaigning around the success of Jessie Ventura's election...so when I see Trump talking bad about other politicians and being the crude person he is, I just picture a WWF/WWE villain yelling at a camera before a wrestling match. Grab some popcorn and think about that when you hear him jump on his soapbox. I'm somewhat happy the capitol was razed yesterday because it will solidify the ousting of him and has reduced the likelihood of him winning any primaries for 2024. I really thought he'd be a contender in 4 years, but I doubt the GOP will have him after this display.

So he could still be back on twitter in a few hours?

Pretty sure the condition was he has to delete the specific tweets in question.

His account has already been restored.

Although he has yet to issue any new tweets.

Maybe he's finally becoming afraid.

I'm sure the MAD doctrine accounts for loony presidents. It's got to go through several rigorous tests before nukes are lunched anywhere.

Exactly. Not like he pushes a button and that's it. But yeah he's the only one that can issue the order for it. But it has to pass through 2 generals before something gets launched.

Maybe they managed to confiscate his phone. No way he's being quiet on his own.

Funny thing..

People seem to always make reference to "his phone".

I've been using Twitter for the last 4 years, from day one, on my computer. When I'm on a service call sometimes, I might occasionally use my tablet.

But I don't even have twitter installed on my phone.

Www.twitter.com

Pretty sure they can't deny him access to every computer in the White House.

He doesn't do emails. So really don't think he touches a computer much.
