Remember when Romney said his economic plan would do x and y by a certain date and Obama reached those numbers sooner than Romney promised?

Turns out trump is offering the same thing.

TRUMP: "Over the next 10 years, our economic team estimates that under our plan, the economy will average 3.5 percent growth and create a total of 25 million new jobs."

THE FACTS: That sounds like a lot, but it's the current pace of job growth, which is a little slower than in 2014 and 2015.

I put "plan" in quotes because his plan is really just goals not an actual plan.

But it sounds good to say it. Very few people will remember or will look up the actual numbers, so it is an instant win to claim that.

Job growth in the last 5 years: 12.47 million. If that job growth rate continues it will be 24.94 million over 10 years. Therefore, Trump is claiming that he can make America great again by adding 467 jobs/month more than we are now.
