LOL the only MAGAs I deal with are on Youtube, they all say "he just became president, you're dumb if you think he can make prices change over night" when Trump literally said "I'll lower grocery prices on day 1" He has it made, his supporters don't even care if he doesn't deliver on his promises. They still worship him.

Moron median voters who are were like "Maybe he really can make it 2019 again so I shall vote for him" are the target audience for economic arguments that he is totally mad. So far most of those seem to not be happy with where things are going.

I think I paid $5.50 or $6 for a dozen in MA the other day. The price has held pretty steady for the last year.

The median voter is as dumb as a brick. This is also the reason to focus messaging for them on egg prices and whatnot. I know it pisses off more online people though. The median voter doesn't care to think of the higher order issues at stake, but they do understand grocery prices. Let them make the connection: egg shelf empty/egg expensive = Trump take egg.

And just like under Biden why hasn’t ANY CEO of ANY egg producer been callled into congress and asked when should we expect cheaper eggs?
To my understanding the egg industry has been fined multiple times regarding collusionary behavior

Why hasn't the price of chicken sky rocketed at the same rate as eggs?

Because chickens for meat only need to live 7 weeks.. but chickens for eggs need approx 18-20 weeks to start laying eggs after hatching..

I considered keeping chickens before but didn't want the smell.. but I and just about everyone else may have no choice.

You also get to eat all the meat chickens. You chuck the boys if they're egg layers.

Which is why Canada doesn’t touch mutant US chickens. KFC and Popeyes use only Canadian grown chickens here.

The Popeyes sandwich I ate a few weeks ago had an unsettlingly large breast. But it was absolutely delicious, so bring on the mutant roided up chickens.

Also the size of the "tenders" from Daves Hot Chicken are scary, but they're so delicious that it's worth whatever I'm risking to eat them.

The taste on the chicken isn't so much the chicken itself but the sauce on it.

Yes Popeyes puts really good sauce on the chickens but if you know the recipe for the sauce (not too hard to find).. it will taste the same for normal chicken or roided chicken as long as it's been cooked the same amount!

Holly shit, Trump really wants to tank the economy. He's going for Chinese shipbuilders. A tarif on all Chinese ships and all companies that operate Chinese built ships. Yeah, good bye imports.

1M per port visit is lmao. Even better the Trump admin wants to require an increasing percentage of US exports to be carried on US built, flagged, and crewed ships. Think Jones Act but globally and it will make our exports highly uncompetitive.

Lol how does he plan to reverse decades of cheapass businessman like himself that used cheap Asian labour to bring it back domestically in a month. He really thinks with a snap of a finger it can be done.

I understand this, but size matters. I had a chicken sandwich from a hippy organic place that was pretty tasty, but the chicken breast was the size you'd feed a 5 year old. I'm not 5 and want a sandwich that's delicious and has an unnaturally large chicken breast on it. I'm pretty sure Canes uses regular chicken, because I can eat 4 strips from there and I'll feel like I barely ate anything. The Korean chicken spot up the street, 1 tender's the size of my hand and it's all I need.
