Signs of Mental illness.
Trump file# 7983

President Donald Trump gave the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks only a brief mention on Twitter as he sent a series of tweets lashing out at the Department of Justice and the FBI.
...
“New Strzok-Page texts reveal “Media Leak Strategy.” @FoxNews So terrible, and NOTHING is being done at DOJ or FBI - but the world is watching, and they get it completely,” he wrote, adding: “’ERIC Holder could be running the Justice Department right now and it would be behaving no differently than it is.’ ‪@LouDobbs.”

The president’s initial tweet on the Justice Department prompted a series of replies questioning why the president was concerned with such matters on the anniversary of 9/11, but this did not appear to deter Trump from continuing to tweet on the topic.

The sad thing is that you could practically count on Trump disrespecting 9/11. He is, after all, the monster who joked about having the tallest building in NYC after the towers fell.

Also, saying that the DOJ would behave similarly if Eric Holder were the AG is actually a compliment to the impartiality and professionalism of the DOJ as law enforcement is not supposed to be political. One of the weirdest and scariest things about Trump is that it's clear he genuinely believes that federal law enforcement is supposed to act in support of his interests, attacking his enemies and protecting his friends.

I am not surprised he started off the day ranting about himself instead of remembering the victims of 9/11. It's been very clear for a long time now that he's incapable of even faking compassion.

At least he was somber when he arrived for the 9/11 Memorial event in Pennsylvania.

you don't stretch and yawn?

edit: is it weird that i do?
It would be weird if you did it while walking apace without missing a beat. Try doing that!

As far as I know it's just the photo and he was pumping his fists at the crowd.

Yes, I agree.

And anyway does anyone here actually think Trump gives a single shit about the victims of 9/11? Him treating this like a rally for his own aggrandizement would not be remotely out of character.

LOL, that bit about his single 9/11 donation going to a Scientology-linked detox fund is hilarious--I never saw that before.

Come to think of it, wouldn't surprise me one bit to learn that the "very stable genius" was a secret Scientologist. All the tell-tale signs are there. He believes I crackpot science and theories, he worships himself and celebrity culture, and he's super conscious of his image and projecting strength and sanity.

Donald Trump is a Scientologist!!

Sure you can. Look at their feet. If he was stopped and yawning they all stopped, both him and those behind him,in mid stride and stood that way while he yawned.

Man, I knew he was a vile, sociopathic narcissist, but you'd think as a semi-functional adult he could fake it for a day.

My fellow Americans put a deranged dotard in the Oval Office. They're having a lot of trouble admitting that it might have been a teensy little mistake.

In his mind, being a trash talking !@#$storm actually gives him street cred. Makes him a man. Someone to respect.
AKA, he sees nothing wrong with it. The mere concept is beyond his understanding.

Both the security guys behind Trump are wearing an expression which screams out "WTF is wrong with you?"

There is little Trump can do or say about 9/11 that would be useful or helpful. He is such a bellicose and dishonest POS that even if he read from a script written by a humane, educated saint, the baggage his voice inflicts on any utterance would stain the message beyond meaning. The second best thing he could do for this country would be to give us 24 hours of silence.

He'd have to go a ways to beat his interview on 9/11/2001:

"40 Wall street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan, and it was actually before the World Trade Center the tallest, and and then when they built the World Trade Center it became known as the second-tallest, and now it’s the tallest And I just spoke to my people, and they said it’s the most unbelievable sight, it’s probably seven or eight blocks away from the World Trade Center, and yet Wall Street is littered with two feet of stone and brick and mortar and steel" …
