In an attempted to weaken the E.U. This orange puppet continues to do Putin's bidding.
When the fuck will the Trump lemmings wake up???
Trump floated the idea of France's withdrawal from the E.U. to Macron while the French president was visiting the White House in April. "Why don’t you leave the E.U.?" Trump reportedly asked.

He then offered to extend a bilateral trade deal to France with better terms than those given to the E.U. if Macron did withdraw from the union,

There it is. Again. Again and again. Doing Putins bidding.
Any conservative supporting Trump must understand that they are sucking Putins dick.
Anyone wanna assert how the NATO summit is going to go?
Meantime the EU is working out it immigration problems and giving Italy the help it needs to deal with the frontier, a deal struck just a few hours ago.

There should be Benny Hill music to this if it wasnt so sad

Trump's supporters must be a-hoot'in and a-holler'in with ecstatic joy over this latest attempt by Trump to sow discord and mayhem with our long-time allies. That's some real patriotic folks right there. Yessir, real Americans wishing for everything that Putin is asking for. Not true you say? Fake witch hunt? Deep down you know it's true. Just can't face the facts is all.

And they must be absolutely thrilled that Trump is sucking Putin's ass like the good 'lil boy toy he is.

How his supporters can still have his back is way beyond me. Must be his liking for racists and fascists and his hatred for non-white immigrants and Muslims that's got his supporters adoring him the way they do.

The Trump appointed Ambassador to Denmark(IIRC) openly stated that his job was to support Right Wing movements within that country. Quite the controversy and apparently likely true.

For someone who insists he’s not a puppet of Vladimir Putin he sure spends a lot of time acting like a puppet of Vladimir Putin.

Indeed. I mean it is possible I guess that he defaults to Russian desires like every time out of sheer stupidity/chance but the long string of coincidences lends suspicion about influence.

Another current facepalm moment:

https://www.axios.com/trump-threat-...ion-f6ca180e-47d6-42aa-a3a3-f3228e97d715.html

President Trump has repeatedly told top White House officials he wants to withdraw the United States from the World Trade Organization, a move that would throw global trade into wild disarray, people involved in the talks tell Axios.

What we're hearing: “He’s [threatened to withdraw] 100 times. It would totally [screw] us as a country,” said a source who’s discussed the subject with Trump. The source added that Trump has frequently told advisers, "We always get fucked by them [the WTO]. I don’t know why we’re in it. The WTO is designed by the rest of the world to screw the United States."

I think we all know what's going on but there's no way conservatives are going to be convinced that their guy effectively works for Vladimir Putin. Worse, if it was proven, I think their answer would be, "So what?"

The Washington Post - Trump is kowtowing to the Kremlin again. Why?

...

Meeting with John Bolton, the president’s national security adviser, Mr. Putin declared that the tensions are “in large part the result of an intense domestic political battle inside the U.S.” Then Mr. Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov insisted that Russia “most certainly did not interfere in the 2016 election” in the United States. On Thursday morning, Mr. Trump echoed them both on Twitter: “Russia continues to say they had nothing to do with Meddling in our Election!”

...

Just as Mr. Bolton was flattering Mr. Putin, Russia was engaging in subterfuge on the ground in Syria. The United States, Russia and Jordan last year negotiated cease-fire agreements in southwestern Syria, along the border with Jordan and the Golan Heights. In recent days, the United States has warned Russia and its Syrian allies not to launch an offensive in the area, where the rebel forces hold parts of the city of Daraa and areas along the border. The State Department vowed there would be “serious repercussions” and demanded that Russia restrain its client Syrian forces. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called the Russian foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, saying an offensive would be unacceptable. All to no avail; Syria is bombing the area.

This is what happens when Mr. Trump signals, repeatedly, that he is unwilling or unable to stand up to Russian misbehavior. We are on dangerous ground. Either Mr. Trump has lost touch with essential U.S. interests or there is some other explanation for his kowtowing that is yet unknown.

The problem is this - 99% of Trump's supporters don't even understand (nor do they care to understand) the significance of what Trump actually did here.

Why of all EU states would he try this with France? They're getting far more benefit out of the EU than any other country apart from Germany (who is far and away in front on that score) and have no incentive to leave. If anything Trump should be trying to pick off some of the lesser EU states like Spain, Greece, or Portugal.

What he should do is stay the fuck out of their business. These are America's closest allies. This serves no purpose other than to make him look like an uninformed fool.

Trump can't possibly offer any EU country sufficient advantages to quit the EU. The proposition is absurd.

That's how it works. When you elect a clown you get a circus.

Nope but Putin is doing in Europe what he did in the US... Unchecked Russian agression and it wont be long before Vlad can put another notch in his belt.. And there the Trump will be to offer an authoritarian "western" alternative to close the deal.

There's more of a chance of forming a new Axis with Russia and Turkey.
