I sincerely hope Trump does run again.

Seriously.
The only good that can come of it is a horse whipping for the Republican Party, a mammoth loss, a repudiation. Him in the spotlight is something I do not look forward to. Facebook today saying he's going to be banned from Facebook and Instagram until January 2023 isn't enough for me. I'd like to see him banned for life, because he's utterly unredeemable. I will always be disgusted by him, there's no chance that that will change.

Republicans will never accept legitimacy in any election where they lose. The whole party is ash heap of history material.

I got news for everyone. Donald Trump IS NOT going to run in 2024, nope.... Donald Trump is going to run in 2021. I predict that Trump will announce sometime during or shortly after the Summer. Because he will not be reinstalled come August as the QAnon Cyber Ninjas expect and predict, that will piss Donald off to no end, so he will have no other option but to announce in or around August if only to keep his base energized. Trump is not going to wait for 2024 to roll around, Trump wants the WHitehouse much sooner than THAT.

Indeed, America is reeling. I think we can take the events of the last year or so as indicators of the demise of American stature, internally, internationally, on all levels save perhaps artistically, because art never dies. Sometimes it has to go underground, however, as we've seen repeatedly in repressive states.

This unless the Republican Party is roundly repudiated in upcoming election cycle(s), a possibility. Seems the gloves are coming off, people are playing dirty, very dirty. Desperation is showing its ugly face. Republicans who show character are chastised, mauled. Kevin McCarthy had a chance to show some backbone and wilted, worm that he is. McConnell too. Pence is faking it. Strange days.

His first rally/speech of the year is in a few hours in NC. He has rallies planned for around 6-8 states, iirc.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: the Republicans' willingness to sacrifice at the altar of Trump in 2016 feels a lot like Thanos' efforts to "snap" the universe. They won the election they should have lost in 2016, but it may have cost them everything. Certainly 2020, likely 2024, and possibly the 2022 mid-terms as well. And by the time 2028 rolls around, the demographic shifts might make it difficult for the GOP to win even with its stepped-up voter suppression.

I don’t agree, I predict 2022 gains in the House & Senate for Republicans. Possibly a majority in both.
Maybe I’m wrong and if so I’ll gladly admit being wrong if called out on it post elections.
Just feels like they are more energized than Democrats at the moment.

He wouldn't dare offplane in CA. He can get away with NC, but here, the blowback would leave him in tatters.

2022 is a "maybe." It depends on a number of factors, including whether or not Trump throws his hat in the ring. I suspect the GOP hopes he doesn't get involved in any meaningful way, because that would rally Democrat voters and negate some of their voter suppression efforts.

They'll take back the House with the added seats from the gerrymandering from the 2020 Census, they're only challenge is the Senate.
