Trump disrespecting the military is fake?? Let me clue what's left of your brain in.

Trump is the guy who...

Trashed gold star families. In case your ignorance overwhelms, these are families who lost a loved one in service.

Trashed a POW for being captured.

Now, tell me again who disrespects military?

I am almost positive his post was sarcasm

I wish that one of those SS folks who got assigned to babysit Trump and then left the service would break the Golden Rule of Silence protocol and write a factual tell-all book about their observations of Trump's behavior and his antics, even after Trump leaves office if that's what it took.

On the lighter side, Trump looks to me like a late model shiny spiffed up Bugatti that has no engine, no tranny and especially so a buggy suicidal ECM that will impulsively reverse the spark firing order out of spite, pop the airbags upon flooring it hard especially when merging into heavy international freeway traffic and disabling the ABS when it detects NATO alliance members are driving the car in freezing ambient temps.

I was always picturing Trump as a modern day Lumpy Rutherford.

more like a replica bugatti that looks fancy and all but uses a lawn mower engine and tops out at 5 mph.

Trump Yammering about soldiers' traumatic brain injuries:

Napoleon Boneyspurs - "I heard that they headaches and a couple of other things, but I would say and I can report that it's not very serious... I don’t consider them very serious injuries relative to other injuries that I've seen."

*facepalm* - Nobody knows more about brain damage than Trump.

Why can't Trump just say something intelligent, like "I was just going on what CENTCOM told me at the time. I wish them all a full & speedy recovery."

According to Trump, it's just a simple headache, a migraine at most. Nothing to worry about.

A lot of TBIs are just short-term, though of course I don't have the details here. What I find baffling is what assignments on the base required some of the personnel to be sitting ducks (i.e. not going into the bunkers) despite a 2 hour warning? Is that a stupid question or what?

I've been wondering this as well, after reading about the advance warning they had and were supposedly able to prepare for it... 30 some personnel with head injuries is better than 30 some dead, but it still made me curious how they were injured.

Could just be concussion.

update:

"The department said the latest total is 109 military members who have been treated for mild TBI "

"The department said 76 of the service members have returned to duty, while 26 are in Germany or the United States for treatment, and another seven are on their way from Iraq to Germany for evaluation and treatment."

Trump's rhetoric at the time had painted him into a corner. Had he acknowledged the extent of injuries to our soldiers, Trump would have been obligated, by his own arrogance and stupidity, to 1) admit that the Iranians can hit what they are aiming at and 2) escalate the violence. Discounting those injuries gave Trump an escape from his own hubris and allowed a temporary deescalation.
