Moonie are you ok? This post is too short.
Among other convictions formed in my common presence during my responsible, peculiarly composed life, there is one such also—an indubitable
conviction—that always and everywhere on the earth, among people of every degree of development of understanding and of every form of manifestation of the factors which engender in their individuality all kinds of ideals, there is acquired the tendency, when beginning anything new, unfailingly to pronounce aloud or, if not aloud, at least mentally, that definite utterance understandable to every even quite illiterate person, which in different epochs has been formulated variously and in our day is formulated in the following words: “In the name of the Father and of the Son and in the name of the Holy Ghost. Amen.”
Thus it comes to pass for some reasons I can't lay plain even to my overwrought introspective brain, badly damaged I should add, by reading the works of the author of the above and upon seeing your complaint that my post was too short caused to instantly flashed through my thoughts, I find myself vexed, perturbed and, yes, motivated to make some response, but of what kind? As you may already suspect that answer as to why it might have been so short is a long story. So what am I to do?
Ah yes, the amorphous begins to crystalize out into verbalize imaging: In the East there is a tradition that those who ask of the wise a question, and you asked me if I am OK, the rest of the stipulations remaining up for debate, the tradition goes, that an answer will be given after the plaintiff has asked three times. A thoughtful and honest examination as to the motive behind such a demand might yield, I would suggest, that the reasoning behind three times is there to insure some measure of sincerity of the party with the question.
How am I to know, for example if you really care if I am OK or actually believe my post was too short, or if in fact some other motivation beyond the ken of someone as stupid as I might be able to adduced as actually lie behind it. So I guess if you really want an answer you should ask me two more times and not complain if the answer turns out to be complex.
But to allow you a level of enforced reciprocity, enforced, of course by me, let me ask you, not if you are OK or something about the length of your post, but something much more down to earth. How did you feel about what I said to Indus?
