It was known well before the election that Trump doesn't like to read much. And that while seeking out a VP he had offered them a chance of a lifetime to really be running a big part of the big show, not just being a figurehead.

This is nothing new. This is your president - he hates books. And long-form reading. And too much responsibility.

Man, you guys are really desperate for reasons to hate him. He's not even president yet. We also have no idea how many briefings previous presidents attended, nor do i really care.

Tone down the hysteria and save it for when he does really bad stuff, otherwise everyone will ignore you when he does stupid shit: and i have no doubt that he will ;)

I don't hate him, it's more of a dread of what what he's going to do to the country.

So its ok if Trump doesn't read his PDBs?

Hmm I seem to remember this PDB Bush didn't take seriously enough. It did get us into a little trouble...

Why would the OP assume "laziness" is the issue here?
When you not willing to do the mundane parts of the job that are important then I would call him lazy. he wanted this job and now he's got it.

Skip pardoning turkeys and lighting Christmas trees if you want to rest.
