Trump skipping WH Correspondents Dinner to hold rally In Michigan

Trump doesn't have a sense of humor nor can he take a joke.
Trump takes everything personal even humor or a simple joke.
He can't separate the two, a simple joke from a serious attack.

I remember when Trump attended that one correspondents dinner during Obama's presidency.
Obama made a joke about Trump, and Trump sat there absolutely fuming.
I think it was the joke about the birth certificate.
Trump just could not take it, and THAT was the last and final correspondent dinner Trump ever attended.
Again... "THAT was the last and final correspondent dinner Trump ever attended."

And so, Trump will hold still another rally at the very same time as the correspondents dinner airs on C-Span.
What does THAT tell us?
That his base can't take a joke either. That they feel Donald Trump is being picked on.
Poor little insecure picked on by everyone, and their leader, Donald Trump.

Trump can't take a joke, and so they can't take a joke.
Again, what does THAT tell us?
That they are BOTH jokes. Both Donald Trump and his base are sad jokes.
Little, insecure, picked-on, thinned skinned, BLAME EVERYONE ELSE, Donald Trump and base.

I am amazed simply amazed that the main conversation within the media, going far beyond Soviet corruption and sex with prostitutes, is not how thinned skinned this Trump guy really is.
And, his entire base as well.
Why they voted for him. Why they believe that everyone not them is a threat.
Why they believe their failures in life are not of their own making, but the fault of others like Blacks and Hispanics and Muslims and Gays and well... you name it.

What we are facing here is a major mental disorder, especially for an adult and more so for an adult with a business empire.
Yet, insecure Donald Trump can't take one single harmless joke aimed his way without cowering and running away to the security of his own rally surrounded by his insecure base.
Seriously, we should all take close notice of this.
This is a major mental flaw proving a very damaged person and a very damaged mind.
And... and WTF... this guy is actually president?

There should just run one story about Trump. "More lies from the President today, nothing new to report on that front." But both the press and the President crave attention.
 
Before Trump hit they stage they played Neil Young's 'Rocking in the Free World' and an Elton John song. I seriously doubt either one of these artists have given their permission for Trump's campaign to play their songs. Hopefully they sue.

I'd wager large sums of money Neil would not allow it in any way whatsoever. He's done this time and time again, especially with The Stones song "You Can't Always Get What You Want".
He's a shitbag who thinks the world revolves around him. I am so looking forward to karma catching up with him and burying him, publicly.
 
Let's hope he rats on himself again (I'm pretty much counting on it). It's all I can hope for from a cult-like rally that will feature a re-telling of every one of Trump's lies that he's been blabbing on about these past couple of weeks.

Or maybe he can stun his followers at the rally the same way he flabbergasted and jaw dropped those FOX host friends of his. Nah, who am I kidding. Those trained minions of his are fully wired in and hyped to an expectant frenzy in anticipation of their messiah blessing them with his words of encouragement and wisdom.

Trump played the same Neil Young tune on the day he announced his candidacy (as he was regally descending down the Trump Tower escalator) and Neil Young blasted the hell out of him for that. As far as suing, so long as the broadcast rights are paid, it's legal. Most politicians back away when an artist complains because they don't want to offend that artists fans/voters. Thin skinned as he is, The Donald has absolutely no problem deliberately offending other people.

I never thought I'd feel bad for Trump people like Sanders but Wolf managed to do that. I guess I don't get roasting humor to this degree. It seemed that the purpose was often to be intentionally cruel and malicious and that while Huckabee may deserve crap I'm not a fan of giving it that way. To give people there some credit they toughed it out while Trump would have been the one person which could not have.

While I don't really condone such an approach It's a consequence of the choices she's made. Also lol at all the indignant conservatives who say stuff like "everything is too PC" or "fuck your feelings" and whine about this. Agree, I only watched the first few minutes before turning it off. Not sure how the WHC decided she was the right choice to follow Hasan Minhaj.
