I know you do...

The house passed a bill known to be unacceptable to the Senate... It goes on and on...
I bet at this point in time it you had a clean House bill and a straight up and down vote with no cloture/fillabuster the house bill would pass 53-47 in the Senate. The split the baby compromise the Dems offered would probably get 60+ but Teabagger Meadows won’t let that offer get to the Senate. If it was just Manchin doing the negotiations, the split the baby would have been agreed to by the White House.

Article I Section 7 Clause 1: "All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills."

Note that the House has the authority with regards to revenue, the Senate has merely the powers to propose or concur, and Executive has no powers whatsoever.

Welp, there won't be anything passed until Congress comes back into session Sept 8. It'll take a while for any money to go out after that. All the unemployed broke-ass people in America take the high hard one in the meanwhile.

About defunding Social Security. Trump probably figures that It’s not like we really need it anymore; what with the way Covid 19 is killing off the old people.

The Senate adjourned, the House did not. Republicans seem to have decided that the EO was good enough and they don't want to talk about this anymore.

Bahahahaha, yeah right, they'd have to give a shit about us to halt their stupid fucking vacation.

There's no point in sticking around when Trump refuses to negotiate & acts unilaterally. I'm confident Dems would return if he gave indications of good faith. He obviously won't, having gone into petulant toddler mode.

waiting for the lawsuits from private citizens challenging some/all the EO's since the Dems dont seem to be challenging it.

Lol...almost sounds like you should negotiate, as per usual, with the people that run the House of Representative then.

When will Trump's +$300 unemployment supplement start to reach the unemployed, if ever?

Yeah, I noticed that Trump's payroll tax cuts haven't shown up in my paycheck yet, either. I'm curious what's going on there.
it's payroll tax suspension.
you gotta pay it back next year, so save up. (hmm.. might be auto taken from your check?)

Since it’s not authorized by Congress and is leftover monies in FEMA, a new payment system has to be created. Once that’s done, all the leftover finds will be distributed.

How far does $10 go?

Suck FEMA dry just in time for hurricane season. Blame Democrats. Hail Trump!

this is straight from House of Cards.
the corrupt President redirects FEMA $ for his political gain.
then a hurricane hits and he has no $ to help the American people.

hm.. but hurricanes usually hit red states, right?
