He's set some records for golfing...I mean working weekends as well as staying at his own properties which profit on the backs of us taxpayers..

Not to defend Trump (shiver), but it's only a new low for his presidency. Past presidents have had lower approval ratings (though I couldn't find historical charts for disapproval). For example, Truman bottomed out at an approval rating of 22%, Nixon 24%, and Bush Jr. 25%. His approval ratings are terrible, but not yet the worst in history.

And with all that you posted, you missed the subject of the article.....Trump's DISAPPROVAL rating, not approval.

In Trump's defense, he's been too busy golfing to start an idiotic war and tank the economy. Give him some time and he can certainly beat W's (if not Truman's) number.

As I said in my initial post, Gallup doesn't seem to provide access to detailed historical data for disapproval ratings. At least, not presented like they do for approval ratings. They have data for Obama, but no one earlier.

Digging around, I found an article on Gallup about historical disapproval ratings. It doesn't provide a week-by-week breakdown, but it does provide the peak disapproval percentages of the three most disapproved presidents. It's basically the same list as the one I gave in my initial post in a different order. Bush Jr.'s peak disapproval was 69%, Truman's was 67%, and Nixon's was 66%. Trump's, at 60%, is terrible, but still not the worst in history. He is, however, apparently the fastest president to reach such a low disapproval rating.
