Worlds leading super power is so scared of pathetic little Russia that we no give a crap about nuclear weapons treaty.
Weapons with little purpose, especially when you consider our armed forces.

Now we are going to listen to this asshole try and mushroom dick swing on twitter.

President Donald Trump announced Saturday that the US is pulling out of the landmark Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty with Russia, a decades-old agreement that has drawn the ire of the President.
"Russia has violated the agreement. They've been violating it for many years," Trump told reporters before boarding Air Force One to leave Nevada following a campaign rally.

JFK (A Democrat) ran a Campaign on the emphasizes that Russia had more Nukes where in fact it was LIE - North America out numbered Russia Nukes by 10 to 1 back then.

It makes sense .. USA is allready an ultimate power (can blitz the entire planet), upgrading from blitz level advances you to .... blitz level. Allowing russia to upgrade, well, SMILE MOTHERFUCKER *BLITZ*

We're pulling out of the agreement with Russia because China.

You can't make this stuff up.

I don’t like it, but reading that article it seems why not. Russia has been violating it so the treaty exists in name only and as a constraint only to the US. In the meantime China is developing those because it has no treaty to abide to and Russia is doing it anyways. So the US is the only one abiding by it, so screw it. I frickin hate nukes.

Remember when GWB unilaterally pulled out of the ABM treaty back in 2002? Putin responded by denouncing the treaty in question in 2007 because their ABM tech doesn't match our own. The missiles in question are actually cruise missiles that the Aegis Ashore systems deployed in Eastern Europe can't effectively counter. See how that works?

And now the Trump admin escalates again, huh? I mean, Christ on a crutch- if we want to stop nuclear proliferation maybe we could start with ourselves.

Yeh, let's escalate because Trump the stable genius who is obviously under Putin's influence says so.

What could go wrong?

WTF does that have to do with this thread? oh yeah, absolutely nothing.

but #bothsides amirite?

Get ready to glow in the dark.

Trump has to outdo everyone.

Now he wants to outdo Hitler for the most people killed by a world leader.

I actually don't have a problem with this. I'd disagree with it had the Russians been abiding by it, but they look at arms agreements like they do international borders unfortunately.

I can see why they wouldn't move on this prior to Russia invading Crimea and Ukraine, but now that Putin has shown what he's willing to do, how bombing civilians and using chemical weapons on them is not a big deal - obligations that apply to us but not them need to be done away with.

"Allowing" Russia to upgrade? You guys are funny.

It's not as if the treaty necessarily stopped Russia (although I would like to see evidence Russia explicitly broke it). To me, it's that this would be an excuse to proliferate nuclear weapons right as we should be banning them. It's like society is sliding back right at the very time it needs to move forward as quickly as possible.

May the first mushroom cloud hover over your home.

I already have lead based paint to use on my basement windows.

Your emotional hyperbole is noted. I'll be nice and skip the lead joke you probably deserve here.

That's mighty white of you.

Ever wonder why the dentist covers your nuts with a tiny little piece of lead cloth, and the steps into a lead encased bunker to xray your teeth?
