You all do see where this is going??
It has already started!!!
It is pretty obvious that Trump stands behind anybody who who is racist or anti a certain race of people!!
That's why he does not stand up to white supremist and insists there are good people on both sides!!
IMO where this is going -- unless we rise up and vote Trump and his henchmen out is towards a society of just white people!1
If you are colored or of foreign descent as long as you toe the Republican line and keep your mouth shut you are allowed into the Republicans country......smacks of Naz……..

ADDED TO MY POST -- FOR THOSE WHO DON`T READ ALL THE COMMENTS --
That is definitely a problem,. but the bigger picture is this is evolving into out right attacks on people who were born here and on US citizens...….I sounded the alarm based on the past history of Nazi Germany!!
People cannot be this blind!! Even those who support the president!!
This is truly a sad day for America and we need to rise up and vote out this embarrasment of a president!!

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-says-tweets-being-called-191448082.html

  • President Donald Trump on Monday said he's not concerned tweets he sent attacking Democratic lawmakers have been condemned as racist.
  • "It doesn't concern me, because many people agree with me," Trump said.
  • In tweets the day before, Trump suggested several "Progressive" Democrats should leave the US and "go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came."
  • Trump's tweets were seemingly aimed at four women of color: Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
  • The president's tweets played off of the racist "go back to Africa" trope.
  • Visit Business Insider's homepage for more stories.
President Donald Trump on Monday was being decried as racist by Democrats, world leaders, and a small group of Republicans over tweets he sent the day prior, but he didn't seem particularly concerned.
Asked by a reporter if he was concerned that "white nationalists are finding common cause with you," the president said, "It doesn't concern me, because many people agree with me."
"All I'm saying is that if they want to leave they can leave. It doesn't say leave forever," Trump said in reference to his tweets before pivoting to bragging about the growing economy.

Trump at the White House on Monday also said, "As far as I'm concerned if you hate our country, if you're not happy here, you can leave."

"If you're not happy in the US, if you're complaining all the time, very simply: you can leave," he said, doubling down on his tweets. "You can leave right now."
"These are people that in my opinion hate our country," the president added, while suggesting that if these lawmakers did leave the US "many people" would not "miss them."
Trump's tweets on Sunday were aimed at "'Progressive' Democrat Congresswomen" whom he said "came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all)."

"Why don't they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came," Trump went on to say.

The tweets were seemingly directed at Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. All of these lawmakers are US citizens, three of whom were born in the US.

Trump has been widely decried as racist for his tweets. But most Republicans, including the party's leaders in Congress, have remained silent on the matter.

The president earlier on Monday suggested the lawmakers he attacked were the actual racists.

"If Democrats want to unite around the foul language & racist hatred spewed from the mouths and actions of these very unpopular & unrepresentative Congresswomen, it will be interesting to see how it plays out," Trump tweeted. "I can tell you that they have made Israel feel abandoned by the U.S."

The lawmakers Trump attacked have been heavily critical of the president on array of issues, especially his immigration policies, with Ocasio-Cortez sparking a fierce debate in recent weeks after comparing the facilities the administration has detained migrants in to "concentration camps."

You make it sound like his voters care about this. They're happy they have Trump. He's the best president ever for them.

Just look at Jon Voight. Then multiply that with 65 million.

People are cheering him on openly and proudly on Facebook. Go back to your shithole countries. He really does say what's on everyone's mind. Well, everyone who is a racist.

Let me save you all of the links and reasoning.

Strongman Trump is a fascist. Power for power's sake, to be used however he sees fit to use it. Laws are meaningless as long as they do not benefit him.

His supporters and enablers are right-wing authoritarians. They only care what their rightful authority figure tells them to care about.

Many people, i.e. his supporters, agree with him, because they are right-wing authoritarians. They do not care what you or anyone else who lives in objective, observable reality say. It's why Strongman Trump has said things like he could shoot someone in broad daylight and not lose a supporter. Or why he can be caught saying on tape that he gets away with sexual assault because he's rich and famous, and his support increases. Because he is a rightful authority figure to his supporters and enablers. Collaborators is the most accurate term. David Frum, no liberal, has even stated that for Strongman Trump and Friends, when democracy cannot be exploited for their own benefit, they will just stop using it altogether. Of course that's been clear for decades, but some of these people who've created this monster are still having a hard time admitting to themselves what they've done, and what is happening.

All of that is clear as day for anyone paying attention for the past 40 years.

The worst villains are the centrist enablers. The ones who always say BothSidesDoIt™. By saying that, they are giving Strongman Trump and the centrist media that only cares about selling ads, the ability to hand-wave away valid criticisms with horse-race, he-said-she-said bullshit so the actual substantive issues never actually get analyzed. By trying to be above the fray of common politics, they actually enable the worst of it.

Between the Firehose of Falsehood tactics that right-wing propaganda uses effectively, and BothSidesDoIt™ bullshit, we just go from crime to crime to crime without the ability to stop and do anything about it.

Which is exactly what the people committing the crimes want.

He's right. Many agree with him. The ones who are racist.

I do find it interesting that one of the few republicans to speak up was from Texas. That was unexpected.

I am reminded of this article I read:

Here's the skinny:

https://www.cnn.com/2016/11/11/us/obama-trump-white-backlash/index.html

Whitelash is a new word coined by CNN commentator Van Jones to describe, in part, why he felt Americans elected Donald Trump as president. But the term describes an old reality: Dramatic racial progress in America is inevitably followed by a white backlash, or "whitelash."

Reconstruction in the 19th century was followed by a century of Jim Crow.

The civil rights movement of the 1950s and '60s was followed by President Ronald Reagan and the rise of the religious right.

Four years ago, on the eve of President Barack Obama's re-election, I warned that his presidency could spark such a backlash.

That period, known as the Jim Crow era, saw the establishment of American apartheid: segregated public facilities, race riots and white racists murdering blacks and their white allies with impunity.

Sound familiar with Heather Heyer?

The key to these coming out parties by racists, white supremacist and Nazis is of course Trump's tacit acceptance of their existence.

What a coincidence it is that the divisiveness, the hatred and fear that Trump foments in order to gain and keep support for himself also benefits his good friend Putin.

Well, that's his mentality. Long as he has his fan club, he's happy. Can't please everyone, obviously. But he's one person who could never stand alone.

One thing that's interesting is that any claims he made to be a uniter have been proven pure bullshit. He's sold his soul to the devil in terms of exacerbating the divisions in this country. He has his base, his money and nothing else.

Hanna Arendt pegged you a long time ago-

“In an ever-changing, incomprehensible world the masses had reached the point where they would, at the same time, believe everything and nothing, think that everything was possible and that nothing was true. ... Mass propaganda discovered that its audience was ready at all times to believe the worst, no matter how absurd, and did not particularly object to being deceived because it held every statement to be a lie anyhow. The totalitarian mass leaders based their propaganda on the correct psychological assumption that, under such conditions, one could make people believe the most fantastic statements one day, and trust that if the next day they were given irrefutable proof of their falsehood, they would take refuge in cynicism; instead of deserting the leaders who had lied to them, they would protest that they had known all along that the statement was a lie and would admire the leaders for their superior tactical cleverness.”
