How about the full quote instead of cherry picking?

“I’ve come to a conclusion where the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat,” says Griffin, going on to add that he doesn’t mean that in a “physical sense,” but in a “political sense.”
The only good Republican collaborators are dead as fuck Republican collaborators.

I don't mean that in the physical sense, just in the political sense, whatever that means.

What does a dead democrat mean in a political sense? No more democrats, just republicans?

The significant part of this story is that Trump retweeted and agreed with it. We all know how he interpreted it because he's not too smart in a political sense.

Thats my interpretation. In the same way many Democrats on this board and many in the public want the Republicans to go away. Neither side wants the other.

except that rightwingers are responsible for 75% + of violent terrorist acts in this country over the last 2 decades.

Sounds to me like they actually do want to kill people.

actually, it seems like the older number is outdated, as it has been growing over the last two years

strange.

Seems the world is also aflame in rightwing violence. Almost exclusively.

Thing is, this isn't new. We were at this point ~1933. Seems a lot of people want to keep this course, because "all is well," in their minds. THere were a lot of people in 1933 that shared that sentiment. Maybe if we dug a little further, if we were actually curious, we might learn how that turned out for such rightwing sympathizers of the early 30s.

History is useful.

Why dont you drink bleach and die. In a political sense? - Any other sense would violate the TOS of ATPN and I dont want to deal with the fallout from all that.(all irony and sarcasm willbe willfully ignored here by morons, hi T).

By the way, where is that sentence adapted from? “The only good ....”?

You have so heavily cemented yourself on the side of wrong, its just too late for you isnt it? The only good blackangst...

Yep. Alot of crazy right wing nutters out there. Ive never denied that. You reponse seems like a yeah our side is bad but the other side is worse kind of thing.

Meh both sides suck. Both sides are just as wacky just in different ways. The middle of the road compromising frame of mind has gone the way of the dodo.

I've only ever heard of say a political proposal, or a political campaign (ie. something not human) as being dead 'in a political sense'.

As for Trump, supporting the use of sayings like "the only good <whatever> person is a dead one" is either a sign of utter stupidity and incompetence for someone in his role, or malice. And since he keeps saying/supporting things like this, and we know he'll have been advised a million fucking times not to, I can only conclude that it's both.

Nah, were still here, watching the country burn like Trump voters intended because they were asked to give other Americans the same respect they expect cuz reasons. We're still here when conservatives are done having their decade long tantrum cuz America voted a black into the white house.
