It's either another distraction from his many failures, fuck-up's and general clusterfucks. Or Biden/Harris is sucking up all the news cycles and he's trying extra hard to get all the attention back on him this week. He is whining, blubbering and babbling extra hard about the House holding hearings about the USPS during the Republican convention.

Susan B. Anthony, who was found guilty of voting..... I was right on the pretext. Wrong on the person.

100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment is today.

I could see this. Trump attempting to pardon someone of state crimes that he has no jurisdiction to do. The best presidenting.

Oops! Sorry. I forgot theirs is a state beef, not federal. Susan B. Anthony is certainly more important even if the pardon is inconsequential.

How am I supposed to feel when someone does a good thing for apparently nefarious reasons?

The reasons aren't even ambiguous. It is only a matter of time before he explicitly blurts the rationale out.

Trump: I did this so all you women must vote for Trump, you have an obligation now. You owe me.

Women voters: Um no.

As people pointed out this was a state crime, not a federal one, so Trump wasn’t even pardoning anything.

So, he pardoned a dead person of something he couldn’t pardon her of to nakedly pander to women.

He's the ultimate narcissist.

The funny thing is that Trump actually thinks this will work as a distraction. The guy who calls every woman "nasty" whenever they challenge him, the guy whose history with women is defined by sexual harassment, assault, and disrespect, is not going to make people forget what he's done.

"Susan B. Anthony, a wonderful, beautiful woman. What a woman, of color. I knew her, and of her, I knew of her very well, better than anybody, believe me."

That's pretty funny, as in twisted, incredible, hard to believe, um, impossible to believe. Michelle Obama hit the nail square on the head when she said that Trump is in way over his head in that speech last night. Trump counters by trying to say that about her. He's pathetic. He may say he's a tariff man and fuck all the farmers, but when it comes to this pandemic, the realities of it are so far over his head it's ludicrous. And he doesn't even try to fix that. He's so stuck on himself he can't acknowledge his flaws, completely refuses to. If someone lands a blow, he asserts it hit that someone, not him. He's blown the pandemic completely. We're in a major crisis. Michelle laid it on the line - Trump can't be the man we need now, it's not in him. Vote for Biden & Harris, our lives depend on it. 77 days to go.
