Trump says Don Lemon and LeBron James are stupid

It gets to the point that there is no excuse or rationale to explain away Trump tweets.

Last night CNN re-aired Don Lemon's interview with LeBron James. An interview that focused on James' contributions to his hometown - including a new public school. Although James did say in the interview that Trump has used athletics and athletes to divide the country.

Trump apparently saw it and tweeted the following:

"Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn't easy to do."

There's just no excuse. The President of the United States. No. Excuse.

In Trump's defense, Lemon is a moron and Lebron James is a hypocrite. Lemoron use the basketball platform to attack Trump as a racist all the time, that's the very definition of trying to divide.

As opposed to Trump using the platform of President of the United States to throw petty insults at whoever happens to have kicked a couple of his dying neurons to life?

This is the exact reason that drove me from leaning liberal a year ago. The constant belittling and put down of people they disagree with. Liberals claim Trump divides yet they are the ones always questioning the ethic and intelligence of people who don't agree with their pov. I read though this forum and its sickening. I see the liberal crowd constantly gang up on an bully people on this forum who are even slightly conservative.

I didn't excuse Trump, but I do point out Lebron as a obvious hypocrite because he does exactly what he accuses Trump of.

And thats why I cant possibly be conservative. The downright violent and dangerous hypocrisy of people who think they are the wise ones.

Violence? Try roaming around with a maga hat in southern california. Better yet, do it in a hispanic neighborhood to get a first hand experience of liberal tolerance.

Don lemon is an idiot and complete fool but Lebron James is not stupid at all, he is a smart man who is also proving free schooling for children.

Sounds like a typical Trump counter punch. Trump can't handle criticism well, so he always fires back. This is nothing new. I can't count how many times he's done something like this. He called Maxine Waters an extremely low IQ person recently. While I'm not a fan of Maxine, that's not very presidential.

There's a good reason why we gang up. To paraphrase: you're entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts.

It's one thing to disagree on economic or immigration policies on a basic level; that's fine. But when someone lies to you that Trump has had amazing economic performance, pretends that Trump's immigration ban wasn't intended to discriminate against Muslims, or denies that human-made climate change is a scientific observed reality... I'm sorry, but that's unquestionably wrong. Just because you believe something strongly doesn't make your view valid.

For that matter, why should anyone support a President who hurls childish insults at anchors and basketball players merely because they criticize him? That's not acceptable behavior for anyone, let alone someone in his position.
