I never understood this flag love us americans have. I love this country but the flag is jusdt an object to me. People who say they'll die for the flag kinda bug me.. Scene in movies of a soldier getting shot protecting the flag make me giggle and don't come of as patriotic to me. Does this date back to our pagan roots, when we worships objects as false idols?
