Trump panicing about a recession is a self fulfilling prophecy: $1.5T money injection, FED rate drops to 0%, another round of Quantitative easing, etc

I'm guessing Trump knows that no President in the past 96 years was re-elected if there was a recession.

Trump sees the stock market plunging.
in an knee jerk reaction, he's fired a lot of bullets to get it back up. ($1.5 Trillion money injection, FED rate drops to 0%, another round of Quantitative easing)
he's trying to prevent a recession so he can get re-elected.

But his problem is the corona virus pandemic, a biological problem.
throwing cheap $ at it isn't going to fix it.

once the pandemic subsides and if the economy doesn't get better, he's out of bullets to do anything about it because he shot his wad prematurely, thus causing a recession.

Agree/disagree?

He "shot his wad" when he got the corporate tax rate so low Fed-Ex avoided paying a fucking dime last year. IMHO he will get taken down by how he initially handled this crisis, instead of listening to scientific experts saying a large testing capability would be needed he chose to accuse the Democrats of "weaponizing" corona and made a laughingstock of himself with the "15 cases" bullshit. Just tonight he said "tremendous control" before he left the podium, no one who followed agreed, now and can you know about "control" when decent amount of test's have not even been run yet?.

Remember when Trump banded together a group of Titans Of Industry? And within a few months, they all dispersed due to Trump's retarded requests?

Yeah, Trump is not a big boy. He is a loser from Queens NY who paid $150K for sex and bankrupted a casino. The man is a complete idiot.

Even when faced with facts, he takes a Sharpie and tries to 'fix' things.

My sense is that it'll take 3-4 years to recover from this. The governor in my state just ordered all restaurants to no longer offer dine in services. The service sector will take a massive hit and may not recover for years....

and the service sector is a larger part of our economy than it has been in the past. this is going to hurt for some time.

When the pandemic subsides? The pandemic has a great shot to be still going strong by the election. It's certainty not going to be over within a couple of months. Strict quarantines and the $1000 a person per month UBI are the only hope for this nation. And we need it right now, we're likely around a week away from hundreds dying every day and the inevitability of overtaking China then Italy in the death toll. If there isn't direct subsidy to the people and strict quarantines you're going to see an enormous number of dead Americans. And we should have been doing quarantines and shutting down of nonessential business last week. This is so perverse that it's voluntary.

Not just a recession, but poor handling of an epidemic will also sink his reelection. If enough people die and the media portrays him as a failure, he won't even get his regular voter base to support him. I don't even think extra effort from Fox News will help.
