I don't think any violence would be acceptable, but it certainly wouldn't come out of nowhere. Let's see the groups Trump has antagonized so far:

- Women
- Muslims
- Immigrants of all kinds
- Mexicans (both immigrants and in Mexico itself)
- The LGBT community
- Anyone who believes in science
- Teachers and parents who want a healthy public school system
- People who value an accountable, responsible democracy
- Factually-accurate news outlets (even Fox News is daring to challenge Trump a bit)
- The intelligence community + anyone who thinks the US shouldn't be a Russian puppet
- Government workers who just want to tell the truth in their reports

That's a lot of people who are rightly pissed off. Maybe Trump could lessen his security concerns by being an intelligent person who values compassion, reason and humility?

No, it's called "be a good President and people will hate you less." The President is supposed to serve the country, not himself, and embracing views that hurt an entire gender, a whole religion, large cultural groups, the free press and even the scientific method is not good for the country.

Again, I don't condone violence in a case like this, but don't act as if Trump is an innocent dove who has done nothing to anger people.
