From what I've seen so far they are attributing the entire White House budget to Obama as "expenses" and comparing that to Trumps paltry $3M a week.

I was kind of being facetious, by arguing with the fact you said "millionaire" asshole golfing again, and not with the golfing, or asshole. I feel like only Commodus found the humor.

He's claimed that Trump Tower in Manhattan he could have it sold for way more than its valued by Forbes, he could pick up the phone and in 5 minutes have a few billion offered for it.

Trump claims lots of things. LoL--do you think something that he says is ever worth considering?

In other threads it's been determined that if he parked his father's seed money and initial investments he made in the 80s, and simply cashed out of his real estate ventures entirely before the 90s, and had his funds parked in a mutual fund from then until now, he'd be worth far more. So the answer is no, he is not a successful business man. He was afforded a very lucky opportunity to be given seed money in manhattan real estate in the 80s where everybody was making money, and floundered ever since.

It's funny though, the narrative a LOT of people have from his real estate "holdings" (ignoring debt) and his Apprentice days is that he's a billionaire who can single-handedly fix the US economy because of a proven record.

Even floundering is generous. He probably would've been insolvent from this Atlantic City investments if he hadn't consistently ripped off subcontractors and later bilked investors who pretty much lost everything.

Obama's travel expenses were in line with previous presidents if I remember correctly and yet conservatives constantly attacked him for traveling too much or golfing too much. I wonder where those complaints are now, considering that Trump is on a pace to exceed Obama's travel spending many times over?

It's almost like conservative complaints about Obama's expenses weren't made in good faith or something, haha. Who could have possibly guessed.
