He did say he was kidding after. Totalitarianism is a funny thing. Laugh a little.

I wana be a dictator.
I called Trump and Kim dictators the other day on my radio show. Kim is one, Trump's as close to one as we're going to get in today's America. I played this song beforehand, then dedicated it to the pair and predicted that nothing was going to change as a result of their sham nuclear detente, that it was a super glorified photo op, pure and simple.

When Fascism comes to America, it'll have a friendly face and an American Flag.

The sad thing is, I don't think it's so much dictatorial ambitions as just continuing the problem Trump has had since day one: he thought being the President was like being a CEO, and that meant commanding absolute loyalty. The problem, of course, is that those CEO-like traits happen to be very dictatorial.

It's what Trump knows and relies on to make national policy. Whoever said that businessmen make great presidents have now been thoroughly debunked and debunked on the order of magnitude with Trump leading the way. These same people see that running a gov't is like running a business. They don't get it that the gov't is a non-profit benevolent entity serving the needs of the people who set it up to protect themselves from being exploited and singularly ruled over rather than a profit making enterprise whose sole purpose is to prioritise profit over any other concern of which in most part is conditionally singularly ruled over (CEO). They don't get it that it's the employees who run the "business" through representation rather than having a CEO running it via dictatorship (as some would have it).

Seriously? Proof he wants to be Dictator in Chief. I'm convinced if he could get away with it, Trump would have his political enemies assassinated.

I hate trump just about more than anything BUT its really fake news.

He was talking about his staff. Watch the video when he says that he points back to the white house. What's sad is all news stations are posting this and people are in a frenzy, just watch the video where he says that and see for yourself.

Might want to make that clear in the title.

Nice fantasy there, tell me again who pays for the politicians campaigns and who they listen to after they bullshitted the people for their votes in order to get in office.

As much as you may hate Trump, just remember our so called representatives of the people also known as the establishment politicians have created the environment for someone like Trump to be able to become president over the last several decades by making promises to the people for their votes but then turning around and doing the bidding of their corporate puppet-masters once in office,

and when the people complained their response was vote for us again and we will fix the problems, that's why they didn't see Trump coming or didn't consider him a viable political threat until it was too late.

Based on the stomach-turning sycophantic display of that one televised meeting...I guess if Trump thinks they aren't sitting up enough he must be looking for actual blowjobs and not just figurative ones.

Even in business, "leaders" that act like Trump does are shitty bosses. I have seen firsthand how narcissistic clowns get a big head and start surrounding themselves with yes men, and the product or service starts to flounder. A good leader listens to opinions from the people "under" them even if it's saying something they don't want to necessarily hear.

Good point and one that I agree with.

For clarification, the text you quote me on is one based on ideals, intent and purpose. I agree that the reality of it all is a whole 'nother story, and then there's a whole 'nother library that is being written where Trump is breaking the norms of the processes of gov't and rule of law on a daily/hourly basis to suit his peculiar style of......."management and leadership" where there is no need for advisers, there is no need for oversight and there is absolutely no need for him to be held to the rule of law. Of course, he's running rampant because as we all know, his fellow Repubs in the Legislature aren't doing their job of being a check on his reckless behaviour AND he has the full unquestioned backing of the base of the party.

If I were to widen the scope of what I was referring to, for the moment I'd be particularly focused on the Repubs as they have complete control of the gov't at this point in time while the Dems are literally shoved off to the curb and called on only when they are needed as scapegoats and whipping boys to take the blame for anything and everything the Repubs do that gets blown back in their faces.

So, uhh, Trump changes that for the better? How so? Or do you just live for the libruhl tears?
