Trump seems to think he's ingeniously preventing Mueller from concluding his investigation by continuing to commit obstruction and implicate himself in crimes himself via Twitter on a near-daily basis. This could be a corollary to that 12-D chess theory: everyone in Trump's orbit packed so much corruption into such a short period of time that merely attempting to make an account of it all creates the impression that they're being unfairly persecuted from all directions by rogue investigators, prosecutors and the media. Sort of a Gish Gallop of graft and criminality.

When all the dust settles..he won't serve time. If anything, A deal will be made in exchange for his resignation. Of course the deal should include restitution for all he's grifted, But all that money will probably have already gone down one rabbit hole or another.

Umm the head of the transition committee was Mike Pence.

If anything criminal went on did he know it? If so when did he know it? And did he aid the criminal activity?

Shades of Spiro Agnew

npt sure that inaugural committee is the same as transition committee. transition committee would be responsible for setting policy early on and finding the right people to do it, working with outgoing administration to try and make certain issues seamless.

inaugural committee is basically a bunch of frat dudes and sorostitutes trying to plan a bunch of parties. So, you know, with the Trump criminal family of Dotards, you know that they hired the most brainless idiots to work that out.

You just know that Mike Pence kept himself and even his shadow at least 300 yards away from any kind of talk where "alcohol" and "women's hemlines" were in the same sphere; unless Mother allowed him, of course.

Sadly they had to cancel the investigation due to a lack of witnesses

Nancy Pelosi will be your next president!

(at least that’s what’s going to happen with the way these alleged criminal activities are starting to look).

This is old news. What's new is that this stuff is actually being investigated now.

You would think that those who complained about the Clinton's being corrupt would be screaming body murder with the uncovering of all this corruption, trump and Co, have been involved with.

LOL! I'm just kidding, we all know those people didn't give two shits about corruption.

Lol apparently there are emails from the committee to Ivanka saying the committee was being overcharged for space at Trump properties and asking what happens if they get audited.

Lol apparently there are emails from the committee to Ivanka saying the committee was being overcharged for space at Trump properties and asking what happens if they get audited.

The facts are continuing to reveal themselves with this.

First, they were able to raise $107 million for the inauguration "committee," or more than twice the amounts for earlier inaugurations. Lest someone try to argue that this just proves Trump's great popularity, they continue to look at the sources of the contributions -- whether they come from foreign entities and so forth.

Apparently, Ivanka was involved in hyping the charges for hotel suites, so the non-profit entity was feeding the Trump organization massive amounts based on the excessive charges that would become apparent in an audit. But the plot thickens -- they discover that $40 million of the total has simply disappeared.

I don't think this is different than the situation where a candidate takes money from his committee or PAC for personal use. If the money flowed into the "Trump Organization," that's really the same phenomenon.

The degree to which the Trump family's greed is exposed by this and myriad other episodes since January 2017 makes the entire saga seem like a continuous run of the Keystone Cops.

They all need to serve hard time. 99 years in the electric chair!

The donors aren't complaining. They put the money out there so Donald could steal it.
