Trump has a live convo with National Asso. of Black Journalists in Chicago - and he actually nails it.

i think i counted two times? maybe three, where the crowd seemed to laugh with him. Really tried to look again at this video with a different lens to see what you're talking about. Still not seeing it.

Can every area just do a screening of this interview at a local pub, bar, bbq place or even barbershop with a room full of black guys so a dude like me can stop by and see what it’s like?

I don't know WHY I thought this old aging forum was naturally more mature. Nah, it's the same echo chamber as reddit or anywhere else. And I say this as a democrat.

Oh the multiquotes and owning people online - grow up.
it's p0wn. c'mon man. you've been here long enough. get it right!

Casual op ed

Man he totally nailed it. Those are the actions a campaign takes when the candidate does great things. The problem is the campaign probably didn’t watch the ENTIRE video or else they would know how great he did.

? Unlike some of you forum dwellers, I have no ego LOL. I would happily admit if I made a mistake, look at my Off-topic history.

Weren't there cheers and laughs with Trump? Yes
Didn't he close to an applause and cheers? Yes.
Anyone denying otherwise needs to clinically check out or just too enraged to see things otherwise. I've been there.

The video is RIGHT THERE, click page 1 of my thread.

A nice fantasy though.

holy crap.

Because I was only talking about the crowd reaction, not the BS that Trump always spews and the media only reported on.

And this is the best part: everyone knows this, and everyone is directly responding to how preposterously wrong you are about understanding the audience. No one is talking about Trump--the only one talking about Trump is you trying to put claims into other people to deflect from your inability to understand how fundamentally wrong you are about plain, observable evidence.

Why do you keep doing this? I think part of the obstinate denial here is this straw army that you are creating to defend your strangely anti-social reaction to very common human responses. It's like, you don't understand laughter, you don't understand boos, you don't understand sarcasm.

He's claiming there was significant and sustained (throughout the event) good reaction to Trump from the audience. This is his opinion, and a lot of people disagree with it but he insists he's correct. I recognize it sounds weird to compare to a stand-up act but OP is assessing the sentiment of the reaction.

Two things we know that the OP has no experience with and clearly does not understand:
1 Black audiences
2 Stand-up comedy.

Hey OP: go watch a Tyler Perry movie in the theater as soon as you can. Report back.

1) Why on EARTH does that matter? Didn't your mom say are you going to fall off a bridge if your friends did?

No, I've never heard this, and that is also weird and makes no fucking sense.

Of course, I've long heard the expression: "Just because your friends JUMPED off a bridge, does that mean you should jump off too?"

That actually means something--it's about following crowd influence, being sheep, whatever--actually making a choice, and it's a good warning for a young, growing, stupid kid.

But telling me that I'm just going to ...spontaneously fall off of a bridge simply because my friends also fell off a bridge? No...I've never heard that. It's weird and makes no sense; it doesn't even imply that you're making a choice in the matter. I would have questioned my parents if they tried to tell me this.

No I think it more like more like you walk into a crowded room and you say everyone in this room is an asshole. It’s probably that you are the asshole

So hey @Zeze - that statement from Trump you used earlier to explain why he was yanked off stage early was a lie. Do you have any new reasoning as to why Trump would abandon the interview halfway through if it were going so well?

Did you watch the full video?

One of the woman panel ALSO agreed she couldn't hear well. Was she lying too? I bet I'll hear crickets on this, just like the points I've laid out before.

Some of you are complete fools - just reposting others' narrative-fitting regurgitation. Just because I watched something full for once, I see so many gaps, and I'm now having to fend off ridiculous denials and goal-post moving by fellow Dems. I have to call it like I see it.

There were cheers and woos and laughter WITH him in the appearance along with the initial mock and shock reactions. He closed it with applause and cheers. It wasn't huge, but there was an energy to it too.

I'm not saying the crazy stuff he said as usual, wasn't crazy.
I'm merely talking about the audience reactions.
Some of you went from "THERE WERE NO CHEERS AND WOOS" to "WELL, THEY;RE FAKE ANYWAY." The irony.

I'm voting Kamala, and this thread got some of you to lose your minds. My history shows completely shitting on Biden when his state was made mainstream; called it like I saw it.

Grow up some of you. We are in our 40s+ Piling on and personal attacks just do nothing at this age. It's just cute.

I hope some of you realize that the left spins a lot too, even if Trump deserves it. If you can't see the left propaganda machine, you're just as dumb as Trumpers.
