I took a long break while I was overseas. When I came back in 2014.. I was looked upon as a troll initially. Back then the real trolls were someone's crazy mind, speedy, compuwiz etc.

Yeah but he wasn't calling the people who posted facts rude, he was calling the people being terse rude. You have to admit the pile on was swift and relentless, whether it was deserved or not.

It isn't like this is some one-off occurrence on this forum. I once confused Pelosi and Feinstein in a thread and was essentially nuked from orbit, and that shit continued long after I had admitted my mistake and clarified my adjusted position. Some people just need to get the venom and bile out. I get it. Sometimes I need to get that shit out myself. I just don't like dog piling or excessive (like orders of magnitude) escalation.
