The dossier explicitly states that the alleged meeting in Prague took place in August 2016....not early/mid-July.
So you think that "was off slightly on the timeline but otherwise evidence indicates every other detail was spot on to highly likely" is debunking or discrediting? Maybe you shouldn't be trying to have a discussion with adults.

Spot on to highly likely? Really? Other than getting the timing completely wrong, what evidence do you have that Cohen actually visited Prague?

EDIT: @thraashman I'm still waiting for your answer. Looks like you're having trouble coming up with any evidence supporting your assertion. Is this what "trying to have a discussion with adults" looks like in your world? Insult and runaway when you're called out on your horseshit?

It is impossible for conservatives to see it the way you do. There is no limit to the rationalization they are capable of.
Well, there is Zaap and then there is Chiropteran so I'm thinking nothing is absolute.

Mueller spokesperson subtly responds yesterday. Meanwhile no other news outlets are confirming the McClatchy story...NONE. Hmmmm.

Robert Mueller’s warning: ‘Many’ news stories on Trump-Russia probe are wrong
The Washington Times - Monday, April 16, 2018
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/apr/16/robert-mueller-many-news-stories-trump-russia-prob/

“What I have been telling all reporters is that many stories about our investigation have been inaccurate,” the Mueller spokesperson said. “Be very cautious about any source that claims to have knowledge about our investigation and dig deep into what they claim before reporting on it. If another outlet reports something, don’t run with it unless you have your own sourcing to back it up.”

I knew all those Fox News stories claiming there is no evidence of collusion were wrong.

Well now. That certainly seems to make Mueller and his team rank pretty damn high on the integrity meter now doesn't it?

Basically they are saying "We aren't telling anyone shit!"

The problem with Mueller's investigation is there have been no progress reports. When that happens, people naturally try to fill in the blanks themselves and then start believing that speculation. This is why we have so many rabid people screaming "TRUMP'S GOING TO JAIL!" or "THIS WHOLE INVESTIGATION IS A SHAM!"

We don't know yet, and people are outside the fishbowl trying to figure out what the fish are thinking.

And they deliberately reminded everyone to beware of fake news right after the McClatchy story broke. Meanwhile no other media outlets can confirm their story.

Man is that some desperation spin from the Washington Times. There’s no way to possibly know what stories were being referred to and yet the Times makes that assertion based on the timing of the statement. You would be incandescent with rage has an actual credible news source tried to do that sort of reporting.

As to my original response to you it was simply to point out yet again that something you so adamantly denied is now a very plausible thing. No matter how this turns out it should be clear that dismissing the dossier out of hand is a dumb idea.

If you listen to Trump or right wing media of course that’s all you’ll hear but...well... they have proven themselves to be a pack of degenerate liars. Surely even you don’t believe a word they say anymore?

Or they meant the, you know, constant claims that there is no collusion evidence. Or that Trump was told he's not a target of the investigation. You can apply it to whatever you want to since there's no way to know.

I never "adamantly denied" Cohen visited Prague. That's a lie. I asked for the evidence that Cohen actually visited Prague.

I think what you guys are forgetting is that unlike some self proclaimed "media outlets" like Fox News, normal journalists confirm their rumors or stories with multiple sources, they don't just go off of one random person they've never met before. That's what is called journalism.

You called his assertions that the dossier was likely accurate 'horseshit'. If you want to parse what you meant by that I'm not interested.

The bottom line is that the dossier has been generally credible to the point that dismissing what it says out of hand is either foolhardy or an exercise in wishful thinking. Trump and his associates are so comically non-credible that their denials at this point should likely be counted as evidence in favor of something's accuracy.

Now that it's quite clear to all that you were lying about me adamantly denying Cohen visited Prague, you switch to the dossier without even blinking an eye. Pathetic. When you admit your lie, I'll gladly address your concern over my dossier comment. Until then, I've had enough of your dishonesty for one day.

Now now DSF, you're projecting again. As I said in the first line of my post (that you conveniently ignored), if you want to parse how adamant a denial is of something you called 'horseshit' I'm not interested.
