Man... the press, in my opinion, seems to really want to invent something here. Does anyone have a link to a similar press conference for Obama after his checkup? I can't find one, I'd like to compare. Thanks.

It became a thing because Trump claimed he would be the healthiest President in history, to my understanding there aren't many on camera appearances.
Trump had to do this because of his boisterous claims.

Well, Slow, you gotta admit that if Trump isn't crazy then he's really good at acting that way...

Y'see, Slow, disputes over Obama's health didn't come up because he was relatively young, ate healthily, stayed active and was clearly intelligent.

Trump is in his 70s, obese, eats McDonald's all the time, drinks Diet Coke like it's going out of style, only gets a few hours of sleep each day and uses a vocabulary that makes some 10-year-olds seem erudite. Someone who claims to be the healthiest President ever and does that? They're lying. And if you think it's somehow wrong to challenge the President on that, especially when he has a long, proven history of lying, that's pretty sad.

It's not Trumps fast food eating unhealthy lifestyle that's as worrisome as all his personality disorders. Aside from Trumps base, people are concerened, Obama was a well spoken stable individual with reasonably good health even though he did smoke cigs. if I recall correctly.

Look at any picture of Trump in his golf clothes and tell me that giant gut is "only slightly" overweight not fat.

Also, was it posted here that an old Trump driver's license listed his height as 6'2" not 6'3"? The extra "alternative height" makes him seem less obese on paper.

Edit: here you go, Trump needed to lie about his height to stay a pound under the obese threshold:

Interesting - Trump's heart health concerns doctors who are less loyal to their Commander-in-Chief:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump’s-physical-revealed-serious-heart-concerns-outside-experts-say/ar-AAuPo0o?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartandhp&ffid=gz

"Dr. Eric Topol, a cardiologist at the Scripps Research Institute, disputed that rosy assessment. He said on Wednesday that the most alarming fact is that the president’s LDL levels remain above 140 even though he is taking 10 milligrams of Crestor, a powerful drug that is used to lower cholesterol levels to well below 100."

10 of Creator should theoretically lower LDL by 30-50%. If his LDL is above 140 with that medication, that's pretty heinously bad. Somewhat surprised his CAC was only 133. Genetics are a roll of the dice sometimes. Still though, he's got athersclerotic heart disease for whatever that's worth at his age.

Just for a little comparison to the healthiest president of all time, HRCs CAC was 0 and she was on her deathbed amirite?

Dr. Eric Topol is full of crap. If that is the most alarming thing about his health then it is nothing much to worry about. LDL at 143 is high, but not extremely high. 10 mg of Crestor is about as low of a dose as you can get. there is one dose lower 5 mg.

From the chart here:
https://medlineplus.gov/magazine/issues/summer12/articles/summer12pg6-7.html
That is only borderline high. 130-159 mg/dL Borderline high
Crestor comes in four dosages. Trump is taking the next to lowest dose available.
CRESTOR. CRESTOR® (rosuvastatin calcium) is available in 4 doses: 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg.

The Doctor disagrees with your findings.

OK.

You can show me where a 143 LDL Level is a death sentence and a 10 mg dose of Crestor is a large dose.

Can’t say I saw anything about a ‘death sentence’. Can you point that out?

You don’t need to be a doctor to see that Trump is fat, likely obese, and you don’t need to be a doctor to know that his sedentary lifestyle and bad diet put him at risk for heart problems. The reason Obama wouldn’t be grilled like Trump is that he was obviously in decent shape, was much younger, and didn’t constantly display signs of mental instability. This isn’t hard to understand for anyone actually interested in understanding it.
