Looks like they're taking the approval ratings seriously, so job one will be staying in power. That means delaying a hearing about a controversial Texas Voter ID law that previous judges ruled racist. I guess they want to give AG Sessions a little more time to settle in before figuring out how to reverse this!

What was that one thing Obama said he wouldn't stay silent about?

Of course. It's all about the millions of imaginary illegal votes cast against Trumpolini.

Post-truth, baby! It's the Jim Crow comeback tour!

If Republicans foreclose on democracy, they may not like what replaces it when people lose faith in the institutions. Paul Manafort can fill them in.

This is a shame. But very predictable. The new GOP is as same as the old GOP. Still never met a brown person they wanted to see have the right to vote made as difficult as humanly possible...

This is one thing, where I think voting rights should be uniform and federal, with no variances, from state to state. Simple and uniform as the IRS 1040 form. Everyone uses the same form to register and everyone shows their ID, no state variances....just them's the rules, period.

I've the same view on voting apparatus, uniform.

Voter ID is a solution to a nonexistent problem. Though I do agree that how voting is done should be broadly reformed: The whole country should adopt Oregon's vote by mail system.

This is the solution. Fed sets standards and issues ID. States only allowed to use this ID. Even for state elections. Less shenanigans by districts.
