Dems reported him to the Bar.

His defense: I was kidding when I said we should kill that guy.
Modern Conservatives are just really really funny and Democrats just can't take a joke or whatever.

Remember when Kathy Griffin, who tells jokes for a living, did that thing with Trump? They didn't think it was funny.

But now a lawyer, who is pretty much echoing the angry level of rhetoric of the right, was just kidding.

These people are garbage.

She went further and provided a visual aid of herself holding a bloody Trump severed head. Not really funny, just gross and disgusting.

I mean, we could go back and count the burning/hanging effigies of HRC and Obama, but burning effigies isn't anything new.

I think giving someone a bullhorn to incite the murder of political opponents on the radio is arguably worse than just another effigy.

Have to say I am glad Bill Barr finally spoke up that they found no evidence of significant fraud in the election. About time somebody spoke up, but I didnt think it would be Barr. I guess he knows he will be out of a job soon, so is trying to look like he has a semblance of truthfulness at least. It is just criminal that McConnell and some of the other Republican leaders have not stepped up and said it is time for all the absurd lawsuits to stop.

That comparison sucks, how about we not throw context in the trash here? Comedians are known to use props in delivery, see Gallagher, CarrotTop, others. That you find it funny or not is irrelevant, bombing and getting no laughs is something comedians are familiar with.

A supposed legal professional advocating murder on a highly partisan Banana republican show, during a time of extreme politicial division where people are already being stalked, harassed, attacked and killed over politics (and race) is hardly an innocent jest. Right wing terror is alive and well in this country, the nutjobs plot to kidnap and assassinate Governors, openly discuss destroying ballots to ruin elections! To pass this off as a joke just doesn't float. This is Team Treason trying to incite violence, again.

A comedian is in nothing like the same position of responsibility and authority as a lawyer, so it's not remotely comparable in that regard.

Though I would say I don't see much funny or insightful in Griffin's stunt - which to me means it wasn't very effective as either humour or political propaganda.

Well personally, I consider calling Griffin a "comedian" to be a stretch, but just my opinion.

Yea, I feel the same way about Dennis Miller. Had to dig for that, as conservatives and comedy don't really gel. i.e. there aren't many.

Will that actually save him from disciplinary action?
