Trump Brexit Idiocy and Irony

Trump couldn't find a more "fitting" place than SCOTLAND, where he visited his golf course to praise the Brexit. (Scotland vastly opposed the Brexit).

As you would expect from a total narcissist retard, he praised the Brexit, but not for reasons you might assume from a potential future US president.

He said IN SCOTLAND how great the Brexit is because when the pound drops, more people will travel to his golf course and bring in more money for his business.

When the pound goes down, more people are coming to Turnberry, frankly,” Trump told reporters in Scotland, where he was to mark the opening of his Trump Turnberry golf resort, and where, it should be noted, a majority of Scottish voters were in the “Remain” camp. “For traveling and for other things,” Trump added, “I think it very well could turn out to be a positive.”

Total and utter fail...

Like they say, how you vote DOES matter.
And the best commentary I heard from this Brexit thing, "People voted against the establishment, then realized they only voted against themselves."

And this...

Yeah, that's why Obama goes over there and within days Brexit surges.

LOL - bucks stops here? Which buck is that? Arab spring? Nope. Fast and Furious? Nope. IRS? Nope. Hillary? Nope. All the bucks just pass him by.

Face it, the derision and contempt for which the leftists and establishment have for pretty much everybody else has led them to this. They wanted to drag everybody else into their utopia of oligarchy, equal outcomes, and outbreeding and are now paying for their dismissal of any dissent. Instead of being a little bitch about it, perhaps you should learn and adapt, otherwise you *will* lose in Nov.

He couldn't find a more fitting place to open his golf course than at the golf course itself!?!

He didn't visit to praise brexit that's happenstance. He gave his opinion when asked and of course he was pro Brexit because we left the EU under the same principles of what he's running for in the states, control over immigration and borders and being able to make better trade deals.

I think you are missing the main problem with Trump's opinion: In the UK he praised brexit. When he returned to the US, he blamed Obama for brexit.

I'm not a Trump fluffer, the news is a bit out of context in the EU. Trump said it was Obama who tipped the election to exit as in people over there hate Obama so much and he's so incompetent that people do the opposite of what Obama wants.
Trump at this moment appears to think Brexit was a good thing and America will be next to take control of its boarders. This can change because Trump frequently contradicts himself but on this topic he hasn't yet.

How idiotic is it of Trump to tweet

"Just arrived in Scotland. Place is going wild over the vote. They took their country back..."

when they had just voted overwhelmingly NOT to take their country back?

How much effort would it have taken for him to ascertain what the Scottish vote actually was and frame a tweet around it?

Well, the U.K. voted to exit, only 60% of Scotland wanted to stay, as a sub group, and his supporters at the rally/opening were likely Brexit supporters.

Scotland leaving the UK isn't a given at this point.

Outbreeding? You're nothing but a racist shitheel. How's that for derision and contempt?

He wasn't at a rally. He was not addressing any supporters. He TWEETED it upon his arrival in Scotland and it would appear he did not even know that the country he was in had voted 62% to stay.

Good picture but all the pictures behind Trump should be pictures of Trump.

Because he's a clueless asshole who knows nothing about global or even U.S. national affairs.

Unfortunately, people like him appeal to quite a lot of people who are also under-educated and over-opinionated. He and the Brexiters can offer simple slogans like "Take our country back!" and "Make America great again!" that people like, and they never have to offer any details on how they are accomplish anything because the people who like them base all of their opinions on emotion rather than knowledge.

Well, someone has to be the OG cuck, and that's LK's lot in life. Of course, with LK's posting history, I'm surprised he still lets his stormfront show from underneath his skirt.

And herein lies the dilemma of the lefty - the only way to view the world is in a binary prism (ironic since you are binary, as I have pointed out). Either you're with us, or you're a nazi. There is no spectrum, no middle ground, there's just 1s and 0s.

And with "us", it means you have to accept complete totalitarianism, or else.

I'll make it clear again. I don't care if you come here to fill an unfilled job that has been offered to an American, fairly. I don't care if you come here when we have a shortage of labor. However, when lower educated minorities need jobs and can learn a trade, why the fuck are we bringing in boatloads more immigrants? Because it suppresses wages.

The same goes for Brexit. Why the fuck are they importing shit tons of immigrants when so many need good paying jobs.

Incidentally, Trump's statement brings up a related issue with Trump as Presidential candidate...

On the campaign trail, Trump promises to defend U.S. firms' interests vigorously. Yet he stands to make money if economic trends favor their competitors overseas.

“When the pound goes down, more people are coming to Turnberry, frankly,” Trump told reporters in Turnberry. “For traveling and for other things, I think it very well could turn out to be a positive.”

The price of the pound declined from $1.47 to $1.38 Thursday night, the worst day on record for the currency.

To be sure, Trump also owns a number of businesses in the United States that rely on international tourism, notably his casinos. Declines in the price of the U.S. dollar relative to other currencies could benefit him financially on net.

Yet Trump has not made public many details about his financial position, breaking longstanding practice for the presidential nominees of major political parties in refusing to disclose his tax returns. As a result, it is impossible to say whether Trump might have to choose between the interests of U.S. firms and workers and his own pocketbook if elected president...

The fact that Trump has interests inside and outside the United States could create a powerful financial incentive for him, using the power of the Oval Office, to influence exchange rates to benefit his companies.

Typically, U.S. presidents sell their financial assets and put them in neutral securities, such as index funds or certificates of deposit, in order to minimize potential conflicts of interest. At a debate earlier this year, Trump gave an ambiguous answer to a question about what he would do with his assets if elected, saying he would turn his organization over to his children.

"I would probably have my children run it with my executives and I wouldn’t ever be involved because I wouldn’t care about anything but our country, anything," he told Maria Bartiromo of the Fox Business Network.

In other words its not at all clear that a Trump Presidency wouldn't have him prioritizing helping his various business interests over the interests of Americans in general. (Such as actions that really lower the value of the dollar could represent a boost to international tourism.) The mere detail that Trump wouldn't be actually running the day to day operations of the businesses would not prevent him from being to figure out what executive branch or governmental action would typically favor the businesses he owns or has interests in the most.

And the only thing that Hillary can offer is globalism and watering down of any value system beyond the State and it's utter contempt for the proles. That's why the totalitarian EU fits so well with liberals.

But hey, TPP is the "gold standard". Enjoy competing with Chinese jobs gained through shitty environmental controls, suppressed currency, State funding...etc. As in, you can't get any jobs because a Command Economy with unlimited State resources cannot hope to compete with anything but the same.

Which is ultimately the goal.

yeah, kinda like Hillary's promises to disclose foreign donors while she was SecState.

So in other words you're apparently admitting the Trump is clearly unfit for the US Presidency. What we're talking about here is indisputably far more serious than the creditable critiques of how Hillary handled those issues when Secretary of State. (The degree of personal financial interest and actual direct personal financial benefit involved is clearly far greater. Trump could also almost routinely pick government policies which happen to specifically favor the companies he owns over his direct often US based competitors.)

If you want to explore whether both candidates are unfit for the job, we can surely discuss that. Let's start first is that we have a *CLEAR* example of Hillary's inability to avoid conflict of interest and her *CLEAR* inability to be transparent in those conflicts, hence her intentional hiding of emails.

Now, can you say that we have a clear example, while Trump is in a public office, that he has had the same *CLEAR* behavior?

There is nothing more "creditable" than an EXACT example of the behavior that indicts Hillary in crystal clear behavior. And to say that those were not "serious" is fucking laughable. They have been vetted and reported by public media and are very serious and "creditable".

Right there, by your own standards, you have eliminated Hillary as a viable candidate. Move on.

And to address your edit. $145mm given to the Clinton Foundation by 9 men who benefitted the most from the Uranium mining transfers. Sure, Hillary was one of 9 on the board, but then again, we don't know where else the bread was buttered. How about this nuclear board, yet another pay for play to a donor. What about the Laureate school and Bill's $16.5mm of salary for an "honorary Chancellorship" and the massively increased grants given to Laureate and it's CEO's foundation?

We can keep going if you want.
