Trump is currently enjoying record approval rating. Seems like many peple are happy with his response to this pandemic. WTF? I think he's done a horrible job. I just don't get it.

Decades of cutting education funding by republicans is paying off bigly.

It's a double win for them, make people dumb and stick it to the unions who they fucking loathe.

Edit: and it's hilarious that 50% of the country thinking he's a shithead is record approval for this guy.

Remember 50% ish got him elected. They haven’t gone anywhere.

I suspect that when more of the electorate has a personal connection to someone killed by Covid-19 the numbers will change. I would be happy to be wrong about the former, although I think it's unlikely that I am.

Remember 9/11 and POTUS Bush? I believe his approval rating when 9/11 took place was in the high 80s.That quickly came down though.

I'm sure the same will happen to Trump. Maybe.

That's not what your link says, but I know you're just trolling. I'm still not sure if you're actually stateside or not, but I suppose either way it's reasonably likely you'll personally know someone killed by Covid-19 as well. Hell, could be you. I guess we'll see.

It's roughly ~45% average now. I'm not sure it's all coronavirus. Incumbents sometimes gain in approval as the election nears. We'll see. I don't think this short-term boost if by coronavirus response will hold as the economy dampens and more people get sick/die.
