The WH Correspondents dinner is not really a roast, it is traditionally a time of good natured, bipartisan ribbing and a celebration of the role of the Free Press. People going to a roast know what to expect and have a chance to respond. There was nothing good-natured about Michelle Wolf's material. More future presidents will skip this event as long as they're these Hollywood starfecking type shitshows.

And the Republican reaction...what I’m taking away from this WHCD episode is that it is only okay to call people liars, insult their appearances, and criticize their characters if you do it from the safety of Twitter.
Watch Stephen Colbert vs W, this was nothing and Bush was man enough to be there for it and went back the next year.

Not only was Bush man enough he owned not finding the weapons in Iraq. I thought this was over the top only because soldiers died over this false premise. Tell OutHouse to go back into the freezer before he melts.

Watched it this morning. Didn't find it offensive in the least. Did find it very unfunny, with a few exceptions. Both her delivery and the material just weren't that sharp.
