It is not a good idea to create an image of an OS while you are logged into it.
I am not saying you cannot do it.
You can use a boot CD, which True Image 10 creates for you.
Or, you can boot to another OS on a different partition and create the image then.
True Image 10 is compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Vista. I have tested both. You can run it from within Vista. You can create an image of a partition with Vista installed on it.
If both OS, for your dual boot, are on the same partition, your image of the partition will contain the dual boot.
If each OS is on a different partition, you will need to image both.
If the boot loader is on a different partition, you will need that also in order to replicate everything after a restore. Otherwise, you may need to recreate a boot loader after a restore.
